I just saw her in passing, but she's so cute! I kind of wish I could have seen her fight. And she has freckles! I've heard that each freckle is a little kiss from the heavens to let someone know that they are special. So people with many freckles - just imagine how special you are, kissed by the stars of so many!

On the subject of things I'm proud of, I shall take a moment to put down my affection for my fellow knight, my comrade-in-arms in Riven, and my dear friend, Irisa Wainryte. All accounts of her conduct in the fight to preserve the Lodge of Petrichor tell nothing less than a proper display of honor and bravery, and it is her steadfast service to our people that made me comfortable in taking my leave to pursue contemplation of my Faith, for I know she shall protect the folk of Riven with her blood and life. She's come so far from the girl she was once, and she shall ever remain dear to my heart.

Dame Irisa doesn't seem very talkative. I'll have to get her into a smaller setting so that I can determine if it was due to lack of having anything noteworthy to say during the gathering of our vassals.

Seeing the wonder on her face at supper was worth all of the trouble and expense of moving the entire county to the city. She is not my sister by blood, but she is through undying loyalty and she deserves every bit of mine.
