Relationship Note on Gwenna
Whenever we get on a diplomatic missions, my highest hopes are that my cousins Duchess Calista and Princess Gwenna join me. It turns every venture into an adventure, every mission into the easiest of steps. My cousin Gwenna posses powers that can make one follow their true desires, their true nature, which makes things much more easier in the negotiation table.
But it is the nights I find most enjoyable, the conversation into the wee hours, sharing experiences and talking of fashion, shedding our duties and drowning in cake. I hope we get to do that soon.

Relationship Note on Gwenna
I have such appreciation for my cousin. It was nice to catch up with her in all the things, Scholar. I do not envy the stress she must be feeling with all the changes that have been going on lately. It is nice that her brother is back though. I need to catch up with him next. I also appreciate that she took the time to tell me the basics of a marriage contract. This will not be my first marriage but some things did slip my mind so it was good to have a gentle reminder. I am grateful to the spirits for letting me be a part of Redrain and especially for the time spent with Gwenna.

My cousin Gwenna is one of the most brilliant and patient people I know, which is a boon when working with someone as... restless as me. Most people wouldn't put up with it, but she does so with such a warmth and grace that makes my hasty thoughts and concerns feel heard and validated. Our methods may be opposite, but we have always wanted the same things: the safety and prosperity of our people, and me away from trying to figure out the numbers ledgers. I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue the adventures of our youth into the present, even if that must mean less tree climbing. Not none-- just less. You heard me.

As proud as I am of my sister Emma and her knights, I'm equally proud of Gwenys promoted to General of Clop Clops Company. I just might have to make a new pennant of bright blue with vivid orange carrot. No, that's too gaudy and not serious. Blue pennants with white dragons and horseshoes, with the flag finial being brightly polished golden carrots.

I did wonder who had gotten my statuette! I'm so glad it was someone who is both friend and family. I feel like it would be a little bit strange otherwise.

Relationship Note on Gwenna
When I first arrived in Arx nearly five years ago, one of the first people to welcome me was Princess Gwenna. It had been a little while since we had last seen each other back in Farhaven, duty sending us in separate directions, but she was as warm and loving as I remembered her. She quickly brought me up to speed on things going on about the city, saw that I was settled into a suite of rooms, and given a proper wardrobe as mine had gotten waylaid on the way to the city thanks to some nasty spring storms. She made the Villa feel as if I were still back home in Farhaven. It is something she still does to this day.
She has always supported my dreams, listened to my ideas, and soothed my worries. Without her counsel, I doubt I would have accomplished a few undertakings of mine. Truly she is a light in the darkest of places, warm and soothing to the spirit, and Redrain is blessed to have her. I am thankful to call her not just a cousin, but a friend as well.
To have her support on this latest venture, as well as the blessing of our High Lord and the help of her husband, Lorenzo, and my sweet sister, Helena, has meant the world to me. What wonders we do when we work together! I look forward to many such things in the years to come for I know with my family at my side anything can be accomplished.

While on a bit of an adventure through the Villa to find something (not) purple and new, I stumbled across my favorite cousin in the Red Study reading. While Lille and I didn't find what we were looking for, we did find something much better. It is always a delight to catch up with Gwenna; she's a fantastic conversationalist and one of my favorite people to spend time with. We swapped a little bit about what we've been working on and potential future endeavors before it was back to the hunt for Lille and me, and the ledgers for her. Seeing Gwenna always puts a smile on my face.
Though, I think the Red Study needs a refresher when it comes to the books we keep in there for lighter reading. More adventure novels and less romance perhaps. I'm certain Dayne can help me with that.

I don’t often write in the white journals, but I did not want to let this moment pass unremarked.
It was an odd thing to find myself with a patron — and some I’m sure would have found the combination of Princess Gwenna and myself an odd match. I admit that when she suggested it, I was caught off-guard, and while there was obviously quite a bit she could offer me, I was not sure as to what I could offer in return.
Now that I find myself in a position where it becomes necessary to dissolve the formal relationship, however, I find it extremely difficult. Princess Gwenna has been a loyal friend to Kennex since we met, and her assistance in our rebuilding has been invaluable. More than that, she has become a dear friend, which was unexpected but in no way unwelcome.
I consider myself very fortunate to have her support and friendship, and I only hope I will be able to repay even a part of what she has given me.

It feels like I slept through the entire summer. Suddenly it's autumn, and I'm trying to list out everything I should have gotten done before now to feel like I've accomplished something.
Top of my list, though, is declaring to Vellichor and the world what a delight my wife Gwenna is. How dedicated, how patient, how good-natured she is, no matter what happens.
I do intend to make my activities this autumn make up for getting nothing done this summer. As for winter, forget it. I'll be hibernating.

Relationship Note on Gwenna
When I was a child, and would go off adventuring around Farhaven or just in general - when Gwenna was around, she was always in my shadow. She'd follow my footsteps, so that people wouldn't know she was with me - or just trying to be sneaky. But it made me realize how large of an impact that I made on her and that she would always be there - somewhere behind me - even if I didn't realize it.
As fate coincides yet again to force my hand to postpone the play I had planned with her and Selene Whisper, I find myself back in Farhaven. Except this time it is me looking at the looming footprints in the snow. And wondering, if I step into that past, will my foot fit, or will I find myself shrinking away from it?
I never, in my years, believed I would be this close to a realized dream. And now, as I stand and look at the path before me, it is with trepidation and worry that I will not -- but I cannot take such thoughts into consideration.
I'll draw my strength from my sister. And as I step one more time into my past, I will look towards the future. As she always has. As she has always been supportive in me doing.
Thank you, Gwenna. I dedicate this next step to you.
