Guildmaster Joscelin's work is breathtaking and she is exceptionally accommodating. I once saw a brooch in her shop, though they had been advertised as more affordable pieces for those who might not often buy such luxuries. When I inquired if she might make a similar piece in silver, she seemed quite happy to do so and I have worn it every day since.

Your voice was beautiful in the night, ringing out in a celebration of love. I was so enraptured by your radiance that I didn't even see the enemy approach. It wasn't until the moment their cover was blown, that they made their attempt on the Archduke, that I awoke from your trance, and I still remember that moment that you were attacked, hit hard and brought to your knees. I don't remember my dagger entering my fingers. I don't remember positioning myself between you and your attacker. What I do remember is that moment of rage. That moment that I struck back and drew the blood of the bringer as chaos erupted around us. My concern was for you, my worry and anger was for you.
All of that, everything that I saw and felt and when I stood over the fallen enemy, I immediately came to your side, took you away so that I could keep you safe. Those moments make us realize just how little time we really have, and I realized that holding back my love for you was a crime, and I want the world to be clear, so that there can be no mistaking this, so that I can stop wasting the time that I have. I love you Calandra. I love you and I want the whole world to know, which is why this is not sent as a missive but written for all to see, and for the archives to hold for all time. Relationship Note on Calandra
Calandra is a whisper that was born and raised here in Arx. I met her upon my return home, in fact within the day. She was sweet but shy, and I certainly can understand given the situation that first brought us together. Since then, we've grown quite close, and I find myself looking forward to more trips to the whisper house as more time goes on. She is lovely, and beautiful, and I love her clothes and jewelry. Aside from all that, she is incredibly kind and warm, I'm so glad to know her, and I hope there is more where that came from.

Darling Calandra was as lovely as ever, and the Festival was a delight, to see the king and queen crowned and the cheer of the people. My only regret is that I were unable to linger long, but my dear Whisper scarsely had need of me, the way her attention was being vyed for. She is a well liked woman and a fine addition to my house and home.

I've heard stories of her singing and I am humbled to say they are all true. We are no strangers to musical talent in the Whisper House but this little 'Nightingale of the Boroughs" can outshine all of them. Keep an eye on this one, she will be soaring towards the sun.

I admittedly know Calandra mostly through Acacia, although she and I've ran into each other, of course, when I've worked for the Mummers. In fact, if I could get her to just sing to everyone I'm entertaining, I think it would work quite well. With her being Acacia's sister and all, I do feel a little compelled to keep an eye on her, to make sure she's alright.

Mistress Calandra Culler of the Boroughs is by no doubt a siren to many of the individuals in Arx. Talen's interaction with her started in brief, developed into a game and only time will tell who will be the better player. As a courtesan from the Boroughs it is a hard climb out of the slums and Talen watches with interest to see whether the so-called Nightingale is capable of such an ascent.

Gorgeous. Young. Much-Loved. Calandra's ability to deal with the 'finer' things in life suits me just fine. Although we have different mothers, there's that shared path with that underlying nature innate in the shared Lower Borough Culler blood. Tsk. Can't exchange that kind of thing. So I'll add to the applause for that light when its focused in upon her and boldly lounge in my shadows. Because that careful balance is how the best things are formed, right?
