Let it be known that Alexis is capable of making metal sing. When presented with a unique request, she did not shy away from the commission, but met it and exceeded all expectations. Exceptional craftsmanship that makes me wonder if I should ever want for another pair of these unique gauntlets for as long as I live. Should the day come that I find myself with coin enough to do business again, I would not hesitate to do so.
To those who would discount a pit fighter's ability to strike in battles that matter, reserve judgement until you see what a talented armorsmith can come up with, when given creative freedom.
My gratitude is immeasurable.

Relationship Note on Alexis
Alexis has taken me from nothing to a professional Armorsmith in no time at all. I had started to fear I wouldn't find a teacher and then she appeared. On top of that, she's offered to commission me for work, which is excellent, because I can't even begin to guess how I was going to start attracting customers.
I'm going to start designing pieces that I'll make when I have more time available.

The first armorer of any talent that I've been able to find while I've been in Arx. They don't make nearly enough women like her. Vibrant and full of life, an incredible fighter and as modest as they come. I can see why she has been entrusted with so much.

You know, of course, that it takes a bit of time to get used to wearing armor. So today, we started with the helmet and cuirass and of course she needed some help keeping her balance. But oh, the look of pride on Ellara's little face as she toddled down the hall like the tiniest little Knight.
I'm certain I saw a few expressions of sheer terror on several guards faces. But Herald Steve, gods bless him, announced her entrance into the hall like she was a visiting Knight.

Relationship Note on Alexis
Though finished to my designs, it was Dame Alexis' forge in the Dragon Hearth that served to create my set of armour and her skill that ensured the high quality of it. Though the helmet is perhaps more fiddly, and the gauntlets more old fashioned, the quality of the work shines through. And the design is not too far from Templar norms. The red steel is covered white, with the edges and ridges made gold. But, a small line of the Rubicund is left between the two to shine. And perhaps it will help me stand out on the field to those that need to find me. It will certainly look appropriately impressive when I must guard the Dominus for events. I cannot thank Dame Alexis for her skill enough in this.

It could never be outspoken how invaluable companions in arms can be when you're facing down Abyssal tainted monsters. These creatures were perhaps, nine to ten foot tall beasts. Though they spoke Arvani, they were too far gone to truly be considered 'human' anymore. It was sad really, a shame to see what I can presume to be men and women with such love for their culture being twisted by such lies.
I'm going to be singing the praises of Dame Alexis for some time yet, the tiny knight with the larger than life weapon that challenged a massive monstrosity to single combat. It was a magnificent showing and I must say that I am proud and privileged to have been apart of such an expedition.
The dangers that this supposed 'God' espouse are many. It is the duty of all those who can take up arms to defend their homes and my respect for Dame Wyrmfang for doing just that has soared in the days since.
Unfortunately, it seems I am going to have another scar.

The Sword of Blancbier is a warrior of as much strength, fortitude, and dedication as one could want in the holder of a House's blade. I respect her deeply. But, more than that, she has a great heart, and I am proud to count Dame Alexis Wyrmfang as a friend.
