Wicked fun no matter what the occaision - be it stitching up a wound, giving someone a sound talking to or throwing back a glass or two of whisky. I think I want to be like her when I grow up, I want to be able to take the world with that grain of salt and see the truth of it - then demand that it sort itself out and stop being a baby about it. While she'd never admit to it, she has so much grace to her and her very own brand of elegance. I am ever honored to know her and always enjoy a drink in her company.

I don't make friends very well, but I like Malvici, she's good stuff.
Fixed my leg, needed it. And she's easy to talk to, don't know where she gets the idea that she's not.
Seems to think she can drink better than me, or any Redrain for that matter. That's fine, I'll let her down easy.
Met her a couple of times previously, but never really had the chance to have a real conversation with her. We got enough shit in common, and not all for the best reasons ever. Like looking at things through the bottom of a bottle and that's not all bad. So I have to say, I don't have a lot of close friends, or many friends in general, but I'd say she's one of them.
Can't ask for much more than that.

She fucking /gets/ me, and I cannot overstate how important that is or how much I appreciate it. Many of my men live now that wouldn't have, under her care. She's a good ally, and a damned good friend.
Plus, she makes gross, inappropriate jokes and can drink most anyone under the table. That's amazing.

I was auctioned off last night. I am near to certain it was a pity bid, but, 20 thousand silver is still a not inconsiderate sum.
I had thought those with highest titles would go for the most. Generally, that was true. Edain garnered 5 times my amount, and didn't even show.
But.... Auntie Eirene? That was something to behold. I'll never forget that night, when we learned her worth!

A hard woman, with a hard job, and a hard outlook on life. She takes no crap from anyone, and less from her enemies. She fights harder than any two people I know to further her cause and the protection of Arvum. She is grumpy, opinionated, easily irritated, and fierce.

I rather like this woman. She's got a way about her that inspires one to greatness. And to drink, but in the most delightful way. She's refreshing, and I do so hope this whole mess will see us become fast friends. Or at least good drinking buddies. A girl could use more of those.

We are both of an age in which the formative years of our lives were filled with the war between Tor and Southport. A decade and more later, we worked together with others against a threat that menaced a city neither of us called home. But to a cause. To a purpose.
I cannot say that we will always see eye-to-eye on matters, but that we speak? That we find ground common enough to us both that we can come to an accord? I respect this medic and commander of House Malvici.

If there's any one person I wish to strive towards besting in a spar one day, it's Lady Eirene. We've sparred a couple of times, and every time I think I'm getting better, relearning the lessons I had forgotten as a boy in Ahj'on, she's there to remind me that I have such a ways to go. The day that I'm finally able to get the upper hand I know I'll have reached a milestone.
Perhaps I will never be as skilled as her or anyone else, I may of passed the proper time to learn when it was best suited to me. But for all her gruffness, I enjoy her company.

In my time training people, it always tends to be the most stubborn of students that seem to be the best ones. It was true then, as it was with young Fiachra as it is now. They may not want to listen, but when they do, they give your full attention, and are better for it in the process.
It is no different with the Lady Malvici. She has talent. I wish her luck on her mission and hope that my advice helps her in her efforts.
