Relationship Note on Zhayla

Dame Zhayla will be greatly missed. She was small and filled with so much power. Probably still is. There was a calm about her too and she was centered. She had a deep confidence in herself and her abilities. She never needed to proved herself.

She came with me on many battles, always fighting with great skill, great focus, a sense of purpose and without a need for personal glory. She was the kind of woman you want by your side in a battle. She fought beside me against the giant we fought outside Compact during the siege and she fought besides during the siege. She killed many bringers and helped to defend Compact.

My words are falling short. They don't quite capture.

Her death will be avenged.

Relationship Note on Audric

I am officially asking, because I want to swim in this future lake of silver. It would require lots of strength!

My prize for Audric was a bathtub to keep his all silver in. I hear he has so much silver, it would fill a bathtub and I want to be helpful. Reese

As some know, I was almost died recently in battle. But almost is not actual death and thanks to great care from those like Countess Mia, Lady Olivia, Mistress Valery and Lady Eirene, I am doing well. It did cause me to really look at things. I really got a taste for how dangerous my life style is. I wouldn't take back this fight, even if I had to risk death all over again. Some of the slaver's agents were killed, powerful agents were killed and that is worth the pain. I should write a will. I also thank Prince Luca, Lord Killian, Dame Esoka and Marquis Rymarr who went on the dangerous mission with me. And most of all, Gloria who was with us.

The Awards Ceremony went very well. I realize that peace in the Gray Forest is not going to be a lasting thing and yet I still wanted to celebrate our victories over the abyss and how much safer the Forest is. So many have done so much that is hard to even list them all and that is why I held the ceremony and had the monument made. I encourage anyone who wants more details to come see the monument or talk to me. I would be happy to to tell the stories. The stories includes those helped to fund the ceremony and make the prizes, including crafters well and well Lady Belladonna who went out of her way to help make the ceremony a success.

We will go back into the Gray Forest and back to the missions at some point. I have a list of those who want to come and help, but feel free to contact me if one does wish to be on the list.

I want to thank those who have gone on the two recent missions into the Gray forest despite the danger, including:

Prince Mason, Princess Lou, Master Sergei, Master Agnarr, Mistress Shard, Master Cauladrin, Lady Joslyn, Count Thesarin, Dame Esoka, Master Merek, Lady Isabetta, Prince Luca, Lady Fiora and Dame Alexis.

Prince Mason and Count Thesarin lead missions and I hear they have done a great job.

Prince Mason, Princess Lou, Master Sergei, Count Thesarin, Master Merek and Dame Alexis were injured. I wish them all a speedy and easy recovery.

Thanks you!

I think I got a little too loud at the Spring Soiree. I also came with damp hair. The battle of the sexes as fun even though I got taken out in the first round. Dame Leona has quite the arm! It was a great event. Lady Monique and Lord Corban did well. I love the pink blanket they gave me from such.

The Rite to Gloria that Dame Leona held was amazing and on more than one level.

It was an honor to be able to fight her. She handled herself so well and not just with her sword.

I was shocked by Lord Esteban's skill. He is quite the nimble warrior!

Even Lady Eirene got into the rink. I really didn't want to fight her, hurting your healers is never a good idea, but she handled herself well.

The Lady Brianna was super amazing and super quick on her feet. Like a fleeting and flickering flame that cannot be touched.

Even the King and Legate Orazio came to watch.

It was a good time. Gloria be praised.

I am pondering bidding up the Solace camp chair again, because that chair would look really nice in our missions camps.

I continue to defend at Maelstrom. It has been quiet, but even when things are quiet, I never discount the value of being a grounded protector on the walls.
The Grayson army, Prince Luca, Lord Killian, Lady Arianna, Master Sparte, Lord Faelan, Lady Clara, Lord Graham and Mistress Eilonwy continue to stand with me. I am proud of them all. They all are handling themselves with grace, honor and taking the protection of the people of Maelstrom quite seriously.

The Thrax warriors have been very brave. I am impressed with their combat skills and their skills at sea.

They have treated me and those with me, with respect. Prince Abbas treats me as a welcome guest general and shown respect for my skills. Duke Harald has as well. I don't agree with all the Thrax do, mostly in the case of Thralldom as many do know. I also do not agree with Prince Abba's past actions and have told him as much to his face. I have to admit though that their love of their people is fierce, their worship of their goddess is intense and their naval sea skills are incredible. They also and I never though I would write these words....they show no sign of having an issue with a blond Grayson female warrior.

Prince Abbas said he is following the combat rules of the faith and so far he has. I have hope that he is risen anew from the waters of his goddess and while his past will never fail to leave a mark upon his soul and will never be forgotten, it takes strength to face that past, to fight on and to put the well being of his people above all else.

I hope soon they abandon thralldom, but the moment I will stand with them and fight them and help push back the Darkwater. I am glad that I went. I see new light.

May the Gods be Praised

I continue to defend Maelstrom, so far it is gong well, all things considered.

I was worried when Sir Preston got so gravely hurt, but I am glad that see that he is recovering.

Maelstrom has been welcoming to us and providing my men and myself with good provisions.

I have many close to me at my side, for they came over with me. While I worry for their safety, I am glad of their presence. (Prince Luca, Lady Arianna, Lord Killian, Master Sparte)

People have been smart about how they fight, keeping each other protected when needed and staying out the range of combat if not a fighter. This has pleased me. My group here is a good one. Sparte has been protecting everyone and making sure we all come out of every fight alive. Faelan is fighting smart. Eilonwy is healing and keeping many of my men alive. Lady Clara is fighting when needed and healing when needed. Lord Graham has been kicking ass too. Lord Killian and Lady Arianna are quite the team on the battlefield. Prince Luca has been protecting me. In a way it is annoying, as I don't want him hurt protecting me and in a way it is quite moving.

Lord Tobias is pretty damn in impressive in how he leads his men and Sir Preston has no fear and complete faith.

I challenged Fergus, because during the Iron Guard competition after being beat by myself and Princess Marian at the duel, he got visibly upset and huffy. He threw down his weapon, quit the rest of the competition and stormed out. He later posted on the journals about ceasing his fighting career over that. I left that go, thinking he was just having a bad day.

It might seem like a small thing that he called my boat fucking stupid, but it comes from a man who is a Prince of Redrain, shortly before I sail off into a battle that might kill me and it comes from a man with the history explained above. I would haven't challenged a commoner over that or even a noble without that history.

Also, it is common for duels to be fought over small matters. This would have stayed a stay a small matter if it was simply accepted and let go. Now it is a bigger matter.

I have a pink flag that can be taken down. Ping shag rugs and a pink hammock.

I have not painted the boat pink.

The issue between me and Prince Fergus goes much deeper than pink, as he well knows.

I was going to argue that there is nothing stupid about sailing off to Maelstrom to protect the innocents there, regardless of the color of one's boat. Then I realized that is not true. There is plenty foolish about doing such and if one values their life above all things, it is downright foolish. It is still the right and the honorable thing to do.

The color of my boat, my gear and my weapons doesn't make me less of a warrior or less of a protector. If, I return alive, we can duel over whether putting up a pink flag and etc into my boat was dumb or not. I would love to duel in defense of the color pink and stand up against such a fine warrior as Prince Fergus or his chosen champion would be an honor.

We head out to Maelstrom shortly

Myself, a pink ship, another ship and part of the grayson army.

Coming with me is Prince Luca, Lord Killian, Master Sparte, Lady Arianna, Lord Graham, Lady Clara, Master Faelan and Mistress Eilowny

I am glad to have them at my side and most so shortly after our mission. I am exhausting friend to have.

They are all very brave. Master Faelan will help us sail. I am grateful for him joining us sea challenged Graysons. Mistress Eilowny will help keep us alive. We desperately need that kind of help. Lady Clara is trained fighting and healing both.

Prince Luca, Lord Killian, Master Sparte, Lady Arianna and Lord Graham are some of the best warriors in the land. I am honored to have them along.

I go with the blessings of Princess Lark, Princess Cara and Prince Calarian. They have ever desire to stand with the Thrax and help save innocent lives. I also go with funding from my family and with their prayers.

Duke Harald has been helping to train me for this endeavor.

We will follow the way of the faith and the way of Gloria while on this mission. Innocents will not be killed, but protected.

Marquis Rymarr has agreed to help manage things on the home front. I am grateful for his presence.

Princess Reese, General of the Grayson Army.

I am grateful for the crafters doing last minute orders for our trip to Maelstrom.

Mistress Mirari crafted an amazing Axe for Master Faelan who is helping to sail our ships and Mistress Alarie is working on leather armor for him.

Master Magpie is helping to rush decorate my ship in pink. He is making shag rugs, sails with pink ribbons, a pink hammock and a pink gryphon war banner.

I must sail in rosy style.

I don't know if a battle where several of my men have died is a victory. I mourn for them and think back constantly on if there was some way I could have saved them. We did defeat these agents at the enslaver, but it was at a cost. We march back soon. We recruited many of the Shavs to our cause and we fought several battles against the abyss. I believe we made a difference in our fight against the Enslaver. Those who came with me were all amazing and when I get a chance to breath and break from battles, I will throw an awards ceremony for them.

In the meantime, I would like to thank those who came or aided us. They are...

Inquisitor Alistair, Marquesa Samantha, Prince Luca, Legate Orazio, Princess Lou, Archlector Aleksei, Lord Corban, Lord Killian, Master Raphael, Countess Mia, Dame Esoka, Princess Tikva, Master Sparte, Prince Aiden, Prince Calarian, Lady Arianna, Lady Regla, Mistress Shard, Dame Paloma, Marquis Rymarr, Lady Clara, Templar Preston, Duchess Margot, Seraph Ailith, Lady Aislin, Baron Silas, Sir Miles, Lady Monique, Dame Alexis, Lady Khanne, Duke Harlan, Inquistior Halsim, Mistress Eilonwy, Lord Estaban and Master Merek

I would also like to thank the Deepwood, Stonewood, Valorous Few, Ashford, Iron Guard and Grayson troops who came with us. And of course the faith healers who joined us as well.

Formal thanks and a ceremony will follow soon, but I march out to Maelstorm the second we get back.

Princess Reese.

I don't think that when I tell Luca not to follow me onto the next mission that he will listen to me.

A part of me is troubled by that and would rather see him head safety back to the mansion

and yet another part of me is very glad to have to him with me.

I have shopping addiction, but it is an addiction that I don't want cured.

Shopping is not only fun, but it supports compact's crafters.

It is pleasing to both Jayus and Gild, I believe.
