That was quite the night at the Hundred Cities!
Thank you to Sparte and Waldemai in particular for coming out to celebrate Estaban's last night unwed! It was spontaneous and a lot of good fun. There were sea shanties sung and plenty to drink.

Good people, I recently was reminded when I had brought concerns up about a particular person, that to sow discord and doubt is the tool of our enemy.
I love and respect my brother Prince Ainsley.
I love and respect my cousin Princess Reese.
They are people like you and I.
They feel. They dream. They hope to meet expectations set upon them by birth, station, and position.
They both make mistakes. They both feel the weight of responsibility upon them.
They both make their own choices.
They both fight for the people of Arvum by living the path of the sword.
Both are noted warriors of their time and in their own ways Blessed by Gloria.
And I would and will follow both into the war to come.
I stand behind them. I stand with family for the fight to come.

I have written a book of prayers for members of House Grayson and our Fealty to sign, in case they wished not to put their own words upon paper. This I will submit to sail in tonight's Paper Fleet.

Yesterday was kind of amazing.
I met three new people, two of whom I know I want to keep at my side as friends.
I also ran into a person I haven't seen in a long time. And we shared drinks and talked about mutual goals.

Two more lost. I mourn for Prince Fergus and Marquessa Freja and give my condolences to the families.
When people depart and are reclaimed to the Wheel, you wish you had more opportunity to speak with them, that you took that chance to become part of their lives, in this life.
As I recall, I assisted in training the then Princess Freja's vulture...Dangerfloof, the bearded vulture. I had meant to ask her so much more... about everything... and never did.
So our paths ... only touched briefly.

The event at the Society of Explorers went well. I managed to train many people that night. I'm tired and exhausted now, but it was worth it, to ensure the knowledge is spread around and each have the opportunity to fight on, sharping their minds along with their weapons.
I want to thank and acknowledge the following people for helping raise upward of $164,000 silver and resources for any missions put forward by the Society of Explorers to find our missing Pathfinder. While some might not think it is a wise cause, apparently those who attended, did. We will not let go so easily, not this one. The enemies be damned if they can keep her.
My thanks to Duke Harlan Asford, Lady Olivia Ashford, Princess Cara Grayson, Lady Joslyn Stonewood, Master Sparte, Princess Tikva Grayson, Lady Lucita Igniseri, Mistress Korka, Master Adriel, Baron Estaban Saik, Lady Delilah Whitehawk, Prince Jacque Valardin, and Master Caspian.
We will not lose hope, if we stand together.

I didn't know him as well as my brother did when we were all younger and growing up.
But I got to know him recently. He helped me find the Griffins...
Without him, we would not have seen the flight of the griffins and their majestic eggs...
I'm so glad that he got to witness them before duty to the sword took him....
I can think of no other way to honor him but sharing the information about the griffins in book and dedicating it to his memory, and writing about his actions with us that day.
Killian... may you rest well. Your loss scores deep my friend. May the Wheel allow you to return to the world again... for the world needs people like you.

As I walk through the menagerie, I reflect on the year past. I reflect on what was, what has been, and what will never be again, and things that we must make happen again. I'm unsure where my path leads me now, though I must be at my best and ready to give everything to do better than I have. I must let go.

I came to Arx, deciding to blindly follow my heart, and I take away from my time here that following your heart doesn't necessarily mean ignoring logic and reason, but it's important to evaluate the context of the situation you find yourself in, and make an educated decision with what you know and go from there.

It was very brave to write what you did, and a conversation that needed to apparently happen, but I do not think the phenomenon is specifically bound to gender.
A kiss or a grab to a man's private parts, without invite, is as equally unwanted.
I should hope the people of Arx would approach personal relationships with better judgement. There certainly needs to be more respect for each other and personal spaces in general.
