I have been blessed with many fine customers within the city of Arx, but the Princess Alarissa is one whose dogged investment in collecting as much of my alcohol as possible goes above and beyond. The Princess Alarissa Thrax has given us a great welcome gift that will grace the courtyard of our home and mean so very much to us in its completion. It was not only generous but a grand gesture that the Marquis and I shall never forget and are not like to when Baroness Skye has completed her work.

When I was writing the song, Standing Watch, it was Princess Alarissa Thrax with whom had the most interactions, and worked with during the timeframe was remembering. Others were helpful also, but she always had suggestions and encouragement for city residents remaining behind and helped keep morale and hope high. I am thankful to them all.

Thank you for that. It sheds light onto the situation, but still fails to explain why they were adopted. Being made wards of House Pravus would have afforded them those same luxuries. That they are kin... I see that. To an extent. Blood is important. But in this case I, personally, find the justification weak. Clearly the Duchess Belladonna did not. That is her choice. It is mine to think poorly of it, and to feel affronted.
Again, this is *not* about the children or begrudging them a rich and prosperous future. It is about the message that Pravus sends about the worth and value of the titles they so freely give away.

What a pleasant surprise I received this morning from the Princess and her Husband.
I received a birdhouse for my birthday from them and blessings for my coming year.
I start to reflect on my last year and I cannot believe how quickly it's gone by.
It wasn't the easiest of years for me, but despite all the losses and pains, I am reminded by blessings such as these.
