Too many have seen fit to ask about more cow races. Lady Kalani is near insistent that each of the Grayson Duchies host one. Bisland would be next, and Duchess Delilah would need to host Shepherd's.

I don't know what Damask is. I am only mildly aware of brocade. I am not so sure that friendship means bringing competing new products to market at the same time. Lady Kaia and Lady Mabelle seem to be the steers of the fashion ship this season.....how long is a fashion season?

Relationship Note on Harlan
Ashford's First Bovine Grand Prix. The cows were mostly untrained in the art of racing and lacked the will to pursue victory at any costs that include passing up daisies and other wild flowers. Next year, the cows should be better. At least I got to eat a good deal of cheese.

The kittens have all found homes, except Tinsel. But Tinsel has a very specific home to go to, and he'll find his way there soon. Or hers, I haven't checked quite yet. The kitten is finicky about people looking at them there.

I write of cows. Pridehall's cows. Highland steers and bovines of great tenderness in both demeanor and meat. You should consider them for your future livestock needs. Their hide tans well and takes to color even better. We have a small herd at the manor now, to tend to our overgrown grasses without forcing our gardener to scythe or anything. Feel free to come and see them.

The Tournament of Thorns went amazingly well! So many people vying to be the King or Queen of a country we made up. Princess Zara Valardin took first, followed by Princess Denica Thrax in second. Count Athaur Rivenshari took third and won the astounding ring.

It is unfortunate that the removal of some morsel of fowl let to the banning of a servant from Bisland Manor. Is it...a bit much? Perhaps. But it is a matter of honor that I uphold Lady Kaia Bisland's decision in the future. Consider the ban effective in perpetuity. And expect a gift basket.

Hunting for thorns
I will never ever volunteer myself for something like this again. I needed to have budgeted for new clothes, for loss of sleep. There has a fair mix between mean and kind pranks played upon me. My favorite is waking and looking out my window to see artwork. A large tortoise, and what I can only assume to be myself riding upon the back with a carrot upon a stick in front of the mouth of it. Truly wondrous.
Some of you have ruined my clothing, and my sleep.

I have become interested in the legacy of Lord Dreysin Bisland, Commander of Eastguard during the Reckoning. If he stands in the Hall of Heroes, his story must be worthy. I encourage anyone with knowledge of the Paladins of Eastguard to send me a missive, especially if you know the wording of their oath.
