It seems like every few months the people of Arx get fatalistic and decide they need to write up wills.
So, once again, here is mine:
All my stuff in my rooms in Arx and Granato goes to Lucy. She can figure out where to throw it.
The Red Bargain goes to my quartermaster Serrano, so long as he isn't a dick about it and keeps on our new first mate, Presunto. I'd suggest he make sea artist Bayonne his new quartermaster, but that's up to him. Keep Culatello as a bos'n, because that's the best place to keep an eye on him.
Also, scrap all of that because if I die at sea I promise you Mangata will spit me back up eventually.

Gods, a few months at sea can really put some rust in your skill with a blade.
Fortunately Lord Ian was perfectly willing to feed me my teeth repeatedly over a long afternoon in an effort to show me where I'm going wrong. I learned a lot. Hopefully one day my ribs will heal.
Aurelian, my beloved future cousin-in-law and marquis-to-be, also walked me through some basic techniques in not getting hit-ology. Could have used that at Setarco when my former bos'n decided to show off what an excellent archer he was and then I couldn't sit down for a week. My sister has offered to pick up that training, so I look forward to seeing her heaving bricks at me in the atrium.

Back in the city again.
Ran away after Setarco. Needed to escape the weird and get back to the familiar. Traded some goods. Stabbed some pirates. Enjoyed the company of ugly men and pretty boys. Lost my first mate to a girl he decided he liked more than the sea. Bastard.
And now it's time for responsibility.
I wonder if it's too late to set sail again.

Relationship Note on Lucita
My beloved sister is getting married to a wonderful man soon. She grew up so fast, and I didn't even have a chance to twist her arm to make her a little more bawdy and enjoy her youth more. I'm sure she will have an amazing marriage and I'm looking forward to watching their love and happiness together in the future.

I have arrived in the Arx again, a break from the boring merchant escorts, and perhaps with the craziness in the seas I might be able to stay here for a while, keeping the Red Bargain on hand should any trouble come up. A good warship is always nice to have about, afterall.
Lucita has taken be about the city, introducing me to fine places, and fine folk, it has been quite a busy few days, but quite fun! I always love coming to this city, especially when it's not the middle of winter!
