Relationship Note on Morrighan
For me, going out and about and meeting people is hard to do. I'm shy, and I'll admit it. But last night was a most rewarding experience. I was pleasantly surprised to make a new friend, engaged in stimulating discourse over a variety of topics, and tasted the most delicious blood orange tea. And chocolate! I've never had chocolate before. It was an experience I'll not soon forget.

It pleases me to read the outpouring of support for Dame Morrighan's fine works in the Whites today. Certainly my wife and I both prize the many fine pieces we have been lucky enough to commission from her. There are many exciting designers in Arx, but when it has to be the best, it has to be the tailor bear.

My husband is correct! I love the amazing gown he recently gifted to me! (Complete with cloak and slippers.) It is silk, yes. I happen to LOVE silk, truly. Most of my gowns are just that. I know I am -just- a shaman, -just- one of those northerners and who are we to speak of fashion? A fashionista, I may not be... but... I have a wardrobe that many are green with envy over, and yes, many outfits made by the amazing Dame Morrighan. The truth of the matter is, I would wear a gown of BURLAP if it was made by her. For she has the talent to turn anything into an absolute work of art. Whereas.... I could take a piece of the finest fireweave and turn it into something you wouldn't even let your animal companion wear.
The art and the beauty is not in the material, but in the craftsmanship. And if it is made by Morrighan? You can bet the garment is one of the absolute finest in the lands!

I've waited - months, years - for a very specific style of gown that I was sure Dame Morrighan would never make again. However, she did, and with a thoughtfulness that was stunning -- she contacted me so that I could purchase it for Khanne. She looks ethereal in it. More importantly? Her entire face lit up with happiness. Some? Most? All? Of her clothes have been made by Dame Morrighan and she adores every piece for the care, the level of detail, and the elegance they are.

I spent the last fifteen minutes helping pry that bit of baby-kraken out of that poor boy's mouth. You're right about the little suction cups.
Also that shit tasted terrible. I accidentally grabbed a cup of Fort's paint spirits for cleaning his brushes. This was worse. Whoever gave that to you was not a nice person.

Today I made the horrible mistake of going through Morrighan's liquor collection. I had no idea so many varieties of spirits existed, there's even one with gold in it, and another with fruit drifting in the bottle, the liquid a bright, pretty red. There's another one with a fancy label that has a dead creature resting at the bottom, and I can't tell if this was on purpose or some poor creature got too adventurous for its own good.
As much as I express concern to me sweet friend that perhaps she drinks too much, she looks stunning, and remarks that this is the effect of being 'pickled'.
If I could stomach the stuff as well as she can, I'd probably have less wrinkles.
Ah, it's just as well. I rather like the little silver strands I have here and there.
