Relationship Note on Kima
The Lioness of Lyceum. The Sword of Southport.
I find it endlessly amusing that one of her titles, whether earned or self-imposed, mirrors the surname of the family which I left behind.
I encountered the Lioness at a meeting within the palace but did not have an opportunity to speak to her until afterward. She is opinionated, seems to possess a playful energy, and gives the impression to others (or at least myself) of being quite carefree.
I've heard gossip of her battle prowess. A true wolf in sheep's clothing it would seem. Yet I find myself eager to encounter her again.

NO, Scholar, they weren't really triplets but they did appear to be of a similar height, weight, shape, and class.

I'd assumed, when the Saiks marched, I would accompany them; I'm a fine horsewoman, and I can use a bow, I know the land and I can bind wounds well. I'd be an aid to them, I though. The Lady Kima decided to assist my training in such matters.
By chasing me around the yard with a staff while I learned to avoid it.

Relationship Note on Kima
When I first met Lady Kima, she did an amazing job at- (more elegantly described) implementing a phallus blockade. She also persuaded me to not get a weapon, and now I am more confused than ever! I wish her well on her morning after- regarding her aching head. Others might have been upset, but- I am gladdened to have met her. Perhaps we will meet again when she is in a less inebriated condition.

Relationship Note on Kima
Lady Kima Saik is often in the company of Lord Victus. The truth is, being so martially unskilled, I didn't think she thought much of me. Different circles, and so on. But she has made such a beautiful gesture of friendship, I shall never forget it. And I am determined to prove worthy of it, and to know her better.

Relationship Note on Kima
The first time I sparred her, I beat her with ease. There were too many useless flourishes, too many tricks designed not to inflict true damage upon her opponent so much as look fabulous.
Since then I kept beating her as our spars became a routine. She got better, stopped treating it like she was a dancer on a stage meant to draw out the oohs and aaahs of the crowd. Not that she still doesn't grin like a stupid every time she gets a move just right, but at least she lets the move come on its own these days, rather than try to force it.
Its no longer easy to beat her at all.
I suppose if I wanted to kill her I should've done it on the first day. This is the problem with training with those outside of your own House. You never know if you've given away a trick to someone who'll use it against you some day.
Though Thrax being Thrax, heh, I suppose its not as if that's not a risk anyway.

Relationship Note on Kima
This was the first woman I met here. Cloaked in the banner of some mid-level house. She left an impression of strength. I wondered if a robust set of balls lay under that dress somewhere. She seems a knight. She talks a knight. I respect a knight. Shame I've butchered so many fucking knights. Hopefully she'll stick.

Relationship Note on Kima
It was so nice to see a familiar face here in Arx. Kima and I while in Southport never really spent much time together, she with her family and I with mine. But here in the city of Arx one must keep their friends close. I was delighted at how easy it was for her to step up and step in to help the Malvici name and even more so, to help me. She is bright and clever... though perhaps a little too clever for her own good. I wonder if in the long run she will be an aid to me or if she will be absolute trouble. Perhaps a bit of both I imagine. Either way, I am glad to have her at my side here.

Relationship Note on Kima
After all the couriered messages through the years, and even more recently here in Axr, I was delighted to happen upon by Lady Kima Saik in the flesh at long last. It feels like an eternity and yet that no time at all has passed. As bright and vibrant a woman as she was a young girl, ever quick to tease and yet there is a great deal more wisdom in her then I think she realises. I have missed her company a great deal for all the time I have been away, and I do not think I realised just how much until I saw her. There is still a great deal to catch up on between us, perhaps I will prolong my stay a while longer.

I have now drank and danced with the Lady, oddly enough both times in the company of Audric. He is an encouraging fellow, but the Lady is rumored to have a good wine. I'll indulge, as long as her charming company is allowed.

Relationship Note on Kima
Lady Kima is a terror with a sword, from what I've seen; I'd love the opportunity to cross my blade with hers, though I suspect she would outmatch me. We haven't had much chance to speak, but just from watching her fight, she's the sort of fighter I'd love to have at my side the next time I find myself dealing with a pack of direwolves that have made their den in some pre-Reckoning tomb.

Aptly nicknamed the Lioness, Lady Kima Saik certainly has claws, as I so readily learned at the Grand Melee. After we kicked one another's asses on the battlefield, I invited the lady for drinks at the Spirits, where I also learned that she had quite an interesting tale to tell. Certainly some mystery to her, but what else would you expect from a vassal of House Velenosa?

Relationship Note on Kima
So you're having a strange morning, recovering from an even stranger night, and a person walks in.
And this person is themselves, glorious, wonderful, but you are not.
You are not ready to meet the day, your mind is preoccupied, consumed by the day to day and the collective complications that have occurred since the previous sunrise.
But you try, you know? Try to collect yourself, put on the smile. Straighten your shoulders, use the right language.
And yet... the cracks are getting bigger. Words and time stretch on and you can't stop your mind from doing what it does.
You fall, because of course you do, it's hard to stay upright beneath so much.
Then, a stranger catches you.
So it was with Kima the other morning. She caught me with her laughter and her hands, her radiant presence and her kind reassurances. She held my burdens in her hands, let me breathe, and when I was ready, helped me find a better way to carry them.
And that's genuinely priceless. There are no rubies or sapphires or tourmalines rich enough to pay for such a treasure.
I am very fortunate to have met Kima, and I hope she remains the good friend she has proved to be.
