Now when I returned to this city, I didn't know what to expect but getting to meet new people is always a good time. However getting to meet Freja was the highlight of my week. Gods the woman is gorgeous, brilliant, enjoys her libations, and can toss an axe. Marry me. You and me are fast friends and although Dagon may not let me hold his sword, perhaps I can convince you to let me hold yours? I mean it's so shiny and sharp. No one ever lets me handle the sharp things except for Uncle Dominic.

She almost made me cry and then laughed at me for it. I know I shouldn’t expect any less from my cousins, but that was very, very rude of her. I know she has business to take care of and people to kill, but I guess I'm glad she can still make time to stack rocks on my shoulders without me noticing.

Once again, I find solace between the trees and moonlight. Nadia shall never be forgotten. I swear it.
I also hope that nothing comes out of the forest to drag me into the abyss. If Freja would come here to sing for me, that would be very much appreciated, but I don't think anyone else leaves the city after dark. At least, no one enters the forest. They mostly go to the beaches.
After all this, I blame Freja for having a heavenly voice and dedicating her song to my beloved cousin. Otherwise, I'd probably have stayed longer to watch the folks wrestle themselves into the mud. Either that, or I'd have had more whiskey.
I should have stolen a bottle of whiskey away. Could use one right now.

Relationship Note on Freja
There's many sides to Princess Freja that I've seen throughout the time I've known her, but I've come to value every facet she decides to present. I think sometimes I forget her age, how despite her youthfulness she demonstrates a particular wisdom, courage and perhaps a brashness that is borne from being self-assured. After entertaining my own bonfires throughout time, and even pulling away less desirable persons in the process, I've yet to purposefully miss something she held. I can't follow her on many of the journeys she will take in this life, but she's certainly not one to be forgotten. Even if I have to test the very limits of my whiskey-guzzling capabilities to keep up. There's definitely worse things in life to have to enjoy. Like tea.

Relationship Note on Freja
Like many of the nobles in the House, Freja is one I admire. Though I've mentioned it before, I appreciate her brevity. When there is something that needs to be said, she gets straight to the point. There's no sugared words, no lessening a blow, she gives her words to you bluntly, in the way you need to hear it, rather than how you'd like to hear it. Some might perceive her as cold, but she is a woman of great strength, and I think the sort that doesn't let emotions cloud anything. I will say this: She can blush. I didn't think it possible, but I'll be damned, she can. She also has a really cute little baby vulture that apparently when full grown will swoop down on you. Enemies beware. Swooping is bad.

Spirits, I love my niece! I think we are going to get on quite well! I'd like to work on some things with her in the future, she seems to be questioning her relationship with the spirits. I tried to reassure her that, that is a normal thing. But I think we should delve a little bit, there may be something truly blocking her. She's around taint an awful lot. I think she and I should get together as soon as possible on this!
