Lady Delilah uas taken me on a her protege. I am grateful that such a well respected and knowledgable person has judged me capable enough to be my patron. I have also joined the Scholars and become an Adept, Lady Deliliah setting me some interesting questions to prove that I can find knowledge in the stacks. Even if I did find it everywhere but. I need to remember that the books I seek will be probably be there, before I methaphorically run to every *other* library I know to check.

It's good to keep their needs in mind, but Abandoned that were living in the Gray Forest are almost certainly more used to Arxian winters than a number of people who have been living in the city for years. The trouble is whether or not they have access to the necessary materials and housing to take care of themselves.

Every now and then you bump into someone and they send you for a loop. In this case, a good one. There is a matter that's been weighing on my mind and I've not even known where to begin chasing it, no less who to ask. With merely a few hints, this amazing lady has set me on the right path and may even turn out to be a necessary ally in researching something I don't even have the words for how to put into an item to be researched.

Your words are touching Lady Delilah. Of course not all the 600 were knights - be they Godsworn Knights of the Faith or Disciples who serve as Knights of their Fealties - and many were simple folk who serve with us for hours each week, many who have no surname, little family. They serve for the love of the Gods, and of their people. And we will remember them equally, and find a place of rest for them amongst our brothers and sisters. We do not differentiate - those who die together in service, unless their family wish otherwise, will have their remains rest together. It is why, though they are not part of the Faith Militant, we have made space for the Mercies that fall in combat in the Grand Mausoleum of the Faith Militant - so they should not be separated from the Knights of Solace who so guard them in life. If ever you go to Sanctum to see it, you will find their memorial in the centre - a beautiful fountain, with small statues of the fallen mercies set around it.
Why, against such horrors as we saw at the lodge, the lines held - I could give in to hubris and say it was the presence of their Grandmaster, but in truth we had Dame Esoka with us - Gloria's chosen. When the beloved of our patron God steps forward, how can we do anything but match that step? She led the infantry with bravery and placed her own life in no greater regard than that of the most common born of her charges. And that is the kind of love we share in the Templars. None of us are better. The disciples have a voice. And the Godsworn knights will come together to discuss decisions at the Chapter House. Even if their Knights Marshall and I must make decisions ultimately, all voices are heard. And opportunity is there for all. I am, after all, a fairly simple orphan, and now I am the Grandmaster.

Sleeping beneath under the night sky has always been a trick of mine for a good night's rest. Among other things.
Though, back in my days on the road, I knew a very strange sellsword who always complained he "couldn't stand the sound of the stars" and had to put wax in his ears every night.
Ended up getting trampled by a horse of all things.
Didn't hear it coming, what with the wax in his ears.
