I have never felt more Lycene in an ensemble created by an.. Oathlander. Master Apollo's fall collection has made me feel more daring than ever and inspired me to design some new pieces for myself this coming season. With attention to detail and beautiful craftmanship, I do not understand why you are still reading this and not going over there.

Relationship Note on Apollo
I had the distinct pleasure to visit Apollo's fine shop, the Leather Paean, recently, as I hunt for new boots to support me on a trip I'm planning back to the Oathlands. I must say, I found the wares on display at this place absolutely lovely. Style and utilty, and the proprietor was absolutely gracious with all my questions. I shall certainly visit again. I am often in need of good shoes and if they are as pretty as they are comfortable, that is a rare and precious thing.

Relationship Note on Apollo
There is no uncertainty in my mind that Apollo is blessed by Jayus when it comes to his craftsmanship. The snow-bear coat and gloves I commissioned from him for my basket for Princess Sabella's raffle are utterly breathtaking. I am almost sad to let them go, but I know that whoever comes to own them will be as enchanted with them as I am.
I cannot thank him enough for his hard work and exceptional skill. He is by far the leatherworker of choice for me and I always look forward to seeing what will come from his shop in the future.

Sweet hands of Jayus, I just put on the corset given to me and created by you. Your work is stunning. The glimpses I've had of your other creations and projects... I am astounded, your work isn't just fantastic, it's -inspired-.

Apollo is back, and has so kindly been working on some new armor for me. I got the breastplate, and it is gorgeous. I am looking forward to seeing the other pieces of it, once Apollo is done with it all.

I visited the Leather Paean and found Messere Apollo’s wares to be unlike any others in the City. The cloaks he has on offer - which grew legs as I watched - are as durable and well-made as they are exquisite with colors that must be seen to be believed.

Relationship Note on Apollo
There are all sorts of ways to grow up around the nobility as commoners.
For some, it's as siblings by blood, in which case they often are treated as family, though without some of the expectations and with many of the advantages. There are certainly drawbacks to being baseborn, though, and I have met very few who were happy about being a bastard, though I know some who have moved on to do fantastic things entirely on their own merit.
Others are wards, like you. I can't really speak to that experience, but I imagine it had to be very othering. As you grew older and realized how different you were.
Then there are those like me, the children of the House's staff. I spent plenty of time around them but there was never any point where I thought I was a Fidante. I didn't eat with them, didn't sleep with them, didn't follow when they went off to their etiquette lessons. I picked some up just by being around them as much as I was of course, but they lived in their world and I lived in mine.
Was always fun bruising the shit out of them in the practice yard, though. My father would laugh and laugh and laugh, then egg them on to be better.

Wonderful mask acquired for the upcoming masquerade and in /amazing/ time, too. I couldn't be more pleased - I will /definitely/ be making it to my first masquerade soon.

Relationship Note on Apollo
The work done on my last commission of armor is simply exquisite. I will admit to some small skepticism on getting leather rather than steel armor, but consider me one of the faithful now. I look forward to showing it off to the family, my patron and the Gold Order soon! You may want to invest in a stout switch to keep the customers at bay!
