Joscelin's presence brightens up my life. There's so much that's genuine within her that being in her company is grounding in a sense. Business typically calls us apart, so our time together is often few and far between. But each time we renew that bond, it's like there was never any distance at all. Those are the best kinds of friends. The ones that get you, no matter what occupies you at any given moment. She had my support at the beginning when she first came to Arx. She has my support still.

As usual, the Guildmistress' work is absolutely exquisite. The latest piece I've commissioned was more for function than beauty, but, even in that, Mistress Joscelin has created a work of art.
I was also more than happy to support her efforts to supply the city's medical centers as well. I might not be able to do much, but if honey infused soap can do it, it seems a ridiculously small price to pay compared to the efforts of others.

I have met a jeweler and craftsperson and I believe Percy said she's the head of a guild or something of that nature but what /matters/ is she's /just/ delightful and has the most wonderful hair. Also she gave me a present.

Twice now I have had the opportunity to meet the Guildmaster of the fine crafters of this city, with the first being by chance when she came to the Tower looking for my cousin. I was aware of her, or at least her work, prior to this, having visited her shop for a different matter altogether, and came away impressed with what the works crafted by her own hand. She was kind enough to humor me, after we dealt with the matters of current events within the city, to tell some of her favorite pieces she has created in her past. I put fourth my own challenge for a piece I desired, and look forward to seeing the end result she designs.

Having met with her again, there is a strong willed woman that runs the mechanization of the guild and all that are a part of it and insightful as well. She understands those that are int he guild and has been through quite a troubling time with the house of Thrax. I suppose it is all i can hope that after hearing of such horrid tales she has come through it stronger, but also still willing to sit and chat with a Thraxian male.

Bedaxxled beauty and the guild master of the crafters of Arx. Anyone can make beautiful jewelry and yet she can make it sparkle more than any I have seen. Skill to aspire too and perhaps even surmount, though that is something she is far more ahead of in the race to start with. Besides, why try getting in forst when it looks far better staying behind her in the race.

It's easy to forget that Joscelin is Guildmaster because of her kindness -- and because of her mouth!! I expected her to be scarier, more wrapped up in power or something. But it seems like every time I see her, she's carrying another weight. But she's still kind, even through her grief, and I'm glad to count her a friend.
PS: also she's happy to feed me, which definitely helps with the good feelings.

Joscelin Arterius proved to be a quick friend shortly after meeting last year or so. We both have the same type of humor, both have a tendency to speak our minds, unafraid of who overhears - and it's particularly delightful to embarrass her whenever an opportunity arises. She is a woman blessed by Jayus, one, if not _the_ best, jeweler this city has to offer. Everything she makes is gorgeous, they truly are pieces of art. Jos is one of my best friends, and I couldn't be more happier for her and Felix. She deserves this. Happiness. Congratulations on this next chapter of your life, Boss Lady, it's an honor to be a part of it.

You so often give me reason to pause and consider, Joscelin, which are actually some of my favorite reasons for taking a break from my work.
Though I am not from the Lycene and make no judgments in that regard, I think I could kill my enemies with flowers, even as an Oathlander. I could just hold them in my fists. It seems a dreadful waste or something so pretty, but certainly doable I suppose. Maybe that's not /technically/ killing someone /with/ the flowers, but...close enough?

With all that has come about, I've stayed away from making my personal life very public.
Today I threw a spear at Joscelin's door. This morning, anyways. Let's just say that the Saffron Chain has fun courting and betrothal rituals. Why aren't more doors being pelted with spears? Probably the repairs. I split her door frame pretty good, so I'm going to have to fix that.
I love this woman, at any rate. We've been through quite a bit and I am proud to be taking her name around the Spring Equinox. It's very important to her, her family line and her name. One also has to admit that Felix Arterius does sound pretty dashing.

Like any good follower of the Faith, I revere and respect all the Gods, but Jayus has never been a very special one for me. I can appreciate beautiful things, of course, but I never troubled myself about their creation.
Mistress Joscelin was recommended to me as a jeweler of supreme talent. Having since made a number of commissions through her, I can safely say that any rumors underrated her talent, if anything.
I think she must be one of those truly touched by Jayus to be able to take a handful of words and bring a vision to life. There is something magical about sharing an image in one's head with her and having it made manifest in the palm of one's hand.
She's turned down my offer of patronage at least half a dozen times. I'll never stop asking, though.

She is immensely gifted, and I believe the Princess truly loved the Guildmaster's work. It's amazing, what she did with those old pearls, turning them into something beautiful. I know the Princess may not wear them often, but I was proud to gift it to her.
