I'm pleased that the Guildmaster and I could finally see eye-to-eye about the loan and interest. I imagine her change of heart had something to do with the present I left in her shop. From what I understand, she was so overjoyed to see herself depicted in wood that she shouted for at least twenty minutes at the scholars.

You do not need to understand me, to understand that the money will be repaid. I am not even sure why this is still an argument, if the Guild 'always gets it's money back and then some'. All I will be doing is putting the money where your mouth is and making you good on your word.

I am pleased to be calling the Guildmistress a dear friend of mine. She has welcomed me openly to the City of Arx, helped me establish my gallery, and has been a fine person to have conversations with. More recently, she gifted me with something truly incredible that is taking my breath away, and for this I am very thankful.

I commissioned a prize for Estaban's archery contest from Guildmistress Joscelin Arterius. Her work is always superb, and I was more than pleased when it was delivered into my hands this afternoon. I am positive the winner who takes this little brooch home will wear it proudly and with joy - as well they should. Hers is truly a gift from the blessed god, Jayus.
She also sewed the ribbons for the top three winners, which I, personally, think are darling and will love forever and ever.

She accepted me into the Crafter's Guild. She gave me a loan, that I may get my shop set up - and with only a single order fulfilled, she gave me a bonus from the coffers of the guild.

I found a surprise on the doorstep of my shop recently. At first, I thought it was one of those dainty little necklaces or bracelets you made.
But then, I realized it was a pile of -actual- dogshit.
I had a rather shady-looking fellow come by the shop this past evening. Asking for something that would be good for dispatching happy-looking Knight-types in their shiny armor. I think I'll point him over towards your shop, and that happy-looking guard of yours. Gerry. Whatever his name was. Don't care.
I hope someone steps on the back of your sandals.

A more fair and wise woman can not be found for Guildmaster. This is why I came to her right away when trouble arose and the response was quick and decisive. Then I think too things like this should never have to be brought to her as they should never have happened... Still, when they do I know I can rely on her and her judgment on any matter evolving anyone in the guild.

Guildmaster of the Crafter's Guild and a jeweler. Recently I conducted business with her that resulted in what I've personally deemed a work of art. The only assumption that I can make regarding her skill is a combination of experience brought on by time and the blessing of Jayus. I'm not often one for fanciful things, but I regularly find myself staring at this ring. One could likely accuse it of being precious to me.
The Guildmaster has proven herself to be an exceptionally skilled worker of fine things and, more importantly to someone such as myself, easy to conduct business with. I will certainly know where to go in the future if I've the inclination to buy a gift for the special someone in my life.

For some unfathomable reason, our Guilmeister-thing has taken it upon herself to rush to our -beloved- city's defense. Be still, my heart.
Look. I care as much about what happens to you as I do where a squirrel shits out the nuts he ate for lunch. Actually, I probably care more about the squirrel shit than I do about how many pieces you decide to come back in. Sometimes it ends up on my front stoop, and I have to walk all the way to your shop just to wipe it off on your door handle. It's fucking inconvenient.
I've been told that my membership in the Crafters' Guild is somewhat dependent on you retaining the Guildthinger position or whatever, and the only thing more inconvenient than having to walk a quarter-mile to wipe off Steve the Squirrel's shit on your doorknob would be not having a shop for Steve to shit on in the first place. So, look. If you want to get torn up by a Bringer and set the record for coming back in the most pieces (which I'm told is currently held by some poor Laurent chap who came back in a couple different baskets), then at least have the fucking common decency to not do it when you're sorta responsible for holding the agreement that I got my shop through. Then, by all means, come back as a much more portable version of yourself.
I hope you step on a jeweler's hammer.

I fervently hope that everyone realizes the hard work you put in to keeping the merchants able to stay afloat during the siege. I know it must be a thankless job at times, while those in armor and swinging the swords get so much of the glory. But I promise we do not forget your hard work! Or the work of all the people who bring supplies despite the danger.
