There was a time, many many years ago when I first returned to the city, that Freja and I decided to share our siblings with one another. I gave her Valerius and she in turn shared Fergus. As it seems to have become a thing once more for sibling sharing it just makes me mourn deeply for both of them all over again and a desire to hug my brother even tighter and longer than usual.

Happy Birthday, Leona. With everything going on I did not have a chance till now to wish you such on YOUR special day. I hope YOUR birthday was wonderful and filled with all sorts of grand adventures and companionship. To think, 25 years ago YOU were born. You've not died yet, so that is something.

I have sat here for hours reading journals. Each and every journal written by each person who wrote something they wished to preserve. I have tried my best to understand what is happening to those I love, what they face even while I know I could never fully comprehend such horrors that war provides to those brave enough to face them willingly.
As a liability anywhere but home, I will always try to understand. I will always mourn for those lost.

There are people that come into your life at certain moments for reasons you will never know. You will take their presence for granted. You will postpone moments, you will allow time to pass then more, and more even after, with the thought that there will always be more time. You cling to the past, with hopes that more of those moments will arise but 'Sorry, I just don't have the time right now. Maybe tomorrow? Next week? Next Month, promise.'

To find out one is going to be an aunt through whites is not exactly the way one wishes to hear such joyous news. To find out through that same entry that there is a cake shortage is even more worrisome!

Relationship Note on Galen
After all this time, I finally had the chance to meet with my brother since he has come to Arx. I thought time would change him, harden him, but it seems his time away has only strengthened his enjoyment for life. I am almost positive between Leona, Valerius, and I, I might be the only Thraxian and our parents found the other three in a field.

The preparations for the Nox'alfar Embassy are well on their way, and I can only hope it is a great success when all the pieces finally come together into a finished project. It will take time, of course, as all great things do, but I am so pleased to have received the level of interest I have thus far. Arx is a wondrous place filled with inspiration and people who run with it.

I enjoyed the Igniseri family dinner, and was honored to have been invited by Lady Lucita. It has made me miss Thraxian family dinners, and my grandfather as it was during one that I last saw him. It might be time for another Thraxian gathering, they happen far and few.

Lady Lucita Igniseri and I have many things in common, and I have grown quite fond of her in the short time since we've met. I am glad that there are people such as her within Arx, and I hope she remains in the city for a long time to come. I would be sad to see her depart!

The Merchant's Assembly went very well for the first one held, and Lady Lucita is a lovely and able co-hostess. There was talk of holding another, and people seemed quite interested so it must be repeated.

I am deeply honored to have been asked to become a Voice for the Velenosa family. I might not have been born a Velenosa, but I proudly carry it and all that comes with being one.

I have had to, recently, come up with a list of rules when swimming due to someone who desperately needed lessons. I find that there are some gray areas and room for improvement...
Rule 1, no diving.
Rule 2, no running.
Rule 3, No peeing in the pool.
Rule 4 through 13 missing.
Rule 14, Do not try to drown the same person twice, the joke gets old.
Rule 15 through 36 missing.
Rule 37, Do not swim naked in polite company or with strangers.

Relationship Note on Cristoph
After what seemed like weeks of messages back and forth, I was finally able to meet with Duke Cristoph Laurent. Though the meeting was of business, I can tell that he is a man of genuine concern and interest in those around him, and that can be refreshing in a world of politics and secrecy. I do hope that our business relationship can continue and our houses benefit from such for a long time to come.

Relationship Note on Dante
Lord Dante Fidante is an interesting man I have had the fortune to meet recently. He contains that self assured cocky attitude that I have grown to know as simply being the Sword of your lands. I have never met a Sword who did not possess this, this knowledge of your skill and ability to the point where when you talk of it, it is simply fact and anything less is unheard of. I have grown to enjoy our chance meetings by happenstance, and I admire the passion he finds for every part of his life.

I have been told I have been wallowing in mourning for too long. That I have kept myself hidden and diminished my passion for life for too long. I see the wisdom in these words, and I know when it is time to follow the advice of others. I was touched by the amount of people who answered my request for dining partners, and will see to it that each and every occasion is met with enthusiasm. I have not been this excited in some time, and hope that more answer the call.
