He turns another year. But such a year. As I spoke at the party so I write here to record my thoughts upon his year. His first child, born on the deck of his ship, in a night filled with storm and turmoil and beastly terrors. Another on the way. The pride of his navy, The Serpent destroyed in battle and another new one makes it's way to us in preparation for the tour. He assembled the Mouorning Onslaught and granted temporarily the rank of Grand Admiral of the entire Compact's fleet.
He turns thirty, this man that I wed to bind two houses together and help usher forth into the future. A milestone. I am proud of him this past year and the growth shown. May his next be far less lively, but none the less filled with everything he desires.

You are correct, that my words did imply those things were not being done, and for the offense my words caused, I am truly apologetic. I am glad to hear that Thrax is seeing to the families of the fallen, and I should have expected no less from a Great House. I know that Keaton is working as hard as we can to handle our losses, and how difficult that is for us.
I can often take things too seriously, and in the examples that you gave, yes. I can see the reasoning behind your choice. I simply... I feel as if all I can see lately is those in need, those I feel a deep obligation to help.
