This Gift Giving Guide gifted to me on Grayson Gift Giving Day is incredibly informative /and helpful/. /And/. Fun to say! There's even a whole subchapter here on how to respond to somebody who asks for gifts they've given back. Only -- what sort of individual would even think to do such a thing? Seems to me that behavior might be indicative of all other sorts of takesies-backsies.

If you don't want something knocked over and shattered, don't leave it laying around on some random table in the middle of a popular corridor where you know there's loads of foot traffic. That's just plain counterintuitive. Asking for trouble!

Is it secretly my birthday? AM I A PRINCE? You laugh, but it happens! Waking up from another restless night’s sleep to a showering of unexpected presents is very welcome and really, I’d like to encourage this in any way that I can -- particularly when the senders are those for whom I feel nothing but the greatest brotherly affection.
