As always, it is a pleasure to deal with Mistress Josephine. I know I will be able to find the materials I need to purchase at a (more than) fair price...and particularly in the volume I frequently need to purchase them at.
Honestly, it's usually the volume that does me in. I don't know how she does it, but truly: if you need more than just one or two pieces of something that's a bit expensive or rare, she is the one who you can almost guarantee will be able to provide it at a great deal.

I again apologize for how my words have been received. It is truly not how they were intended and every apology I have given, I assure you has been sincere. I am sorry also you did not like that I said 'oh goodness' sometimes I do that when I get frazzled. When I said I could not afford those prices and would try someone else, I did not mean to insult your time or your skills. I do not know how else to prove I am sorry than what I have already done. I wrote without thinking overly long on what I was saying, and what was said or how you took what was said is not what is reflected in my heart. You have my deepest apologies for offending you so.

Once more, Mistress Josephine, I express my most sincere and heartfelt apologies. I did not mean to offend you. I tried to explain in the apologies I sent to you in messengers, but you still seem very upset in messengers and now here on the Whites. I only meant to say I would need to use a vendor I could afford and I am horribly sorry it came off in any other way that may have felt like disrespect. That was certainly never my intention. I honestly was rather surprised when you were upset, I was not aware I had said something inflammatory and that is my own failing for not being more careful or precise with my wording. Again, my most sincere apologies. As I stated in my messengers I would happily welcome any opportunity to make this up to you.

I've always loved pearls. Most of the ones I've worked with are much smaller than these, and not nearly as luminescent, nor as resplendent or as abundant in colors. Oh, the colors...
It takes time, years and years to create a decent sized pearl, say the size of a pea? Regularly, the ones the Selikis send me are twice, three, four, five, SIX TIMES that size, and it's giving me a great deal of room as far as what I can create and how I can display these beautiful specimens. They can be carved as well, the nacre is precious though and I keep it all (I send them to the alchemists in the Guild that specialize in paints and cosmetics), I waste nothing.
I am blessed beyond anything that the Selikis are so very particular about who they let work with their pearls. Their ethics in labor are intense and awe-inspiring, makes the resources they harvest that much more appreciative and precious. I am humbled by the pleasure they take in what I do with them, and that they trust me to represent them in this.

Never have I seen something so regal. Indeed, it puts anything I have ever worn on my head to shame, and I have worn Triscali's crown, so that is saying something. I am spoiled beyond belief, and grateful beyond measure. I do not know that any other birthday present will top this one, and none could top your friendship.

I happened to be in Mistress Josephine Arcuri's shop when I came across a fantastic bear pendant. It was so perfect that I had to buy it, but it was more silver than I could personally hope to own. I do not know how to repay Rhea for helping me with the silver to impulse buy it.

A sizable order was placed for signets. Time to delivery lasted a reasonable amount of time. The work itself was beyond adequate. Josephine Arcuri is an industrious individual and has a family to aid in supporting. Funds well spent on an important household project.

There may be many negative things said in the white journals we keep, but I pen today a positive.
For weeks now I have been debating whether or not I should have armor made. The city at times has been dangerous (for those here during the Siege) and there are new foes marching in our direction. While no slight is meant against the Iron Guard, it is simple fact that there are times when our city's defenders cannot be everywhere at every time. Moreover, I find myself itching for chances to get out of the city, and for that something to keep me safe during travel would be wanted.
After hearing some of Mother Bianca's adventures and the dangers involved while serving the Compact, I decided I could not wait. If I want to take advantage of what my patron can offer, I need to be willing to put myself out there and take a risk.
This week, Mistress Josephine was kind enough to help with that decision, and I will be sure to put the armor she has helped me assemble to good use. She has my thanks, and as does House Bisland and all those that helped fund her efforts, and I wish them penned here for prosperity.
And if this entry is a bit wordy and long? Well, I'm certain you will all read this and understand that the weight of the new armor is considerably, and my apartment has quite a view from its high floor... and I do not at all look forward to those stairs with this weight.

I can not even begin to express how impressed I am with Josephine Arcuri. She brokered an amazing deal for me for the making of my armor and weapon, so good that it felt like I MADE money when it was all over. I half suspect I was, in fact. And the ease with how she handled it all? Absolute, complete efficiency and professionalism while also being a social graceful marvel.
I enjoyed it so much I'm tempted to just buy things and beg her to broker for me, for the enjoyment of it all. I won't though, she is a busy woman.

Like a magpie who also enjoys reading legends, I've always wanted a piece of Dragonweep. Would that I could expect to win some now, but I'm not going to count on it.
