I think I've done more sewing this week than I can remember ever having done in semi-recent memory. Pretty sure my fingers are calling it quits and demanding a break, for at least a little while. I'm ridiculously pleased with how everything has turned out, and I don't often get that giddy over gowns, but damn it they're so -shiny-.

I might actually get these clothes finished in a semi-timely manner, for once. Sometimes being finicky with my work is a double-edged sword; it’s ridiculously time consuming, and I feel bad for making my clients wait, but the results are always highly satisfactory. In the end the smiles of a happy customer and appreciation for their new attire is well worth the time spent on getting everything perfect.
