Now that we are home from Brightshore, a part of me wonders if, or when we will get to return again. Perhaps not soon, but hopefully in the future. The land was beautiful, lush and verdant. Filled with brilliant and amazing colors from it's strange flora and fauna. Even the beach it self sparkled like diamonds. It was so bright that it was blinding when the sun's rays hit just right.

I thank Petrichor for creating wonderous places like Brightshore, and feel deeply blessed for having a chance to visit it, and see it for myself. And honored have had the chance to make new animal friends, that wished to come home to Arvum with me.

Relationship Note on Lou

I'm thankful for having answered Princess Lou's posting a couple years ago when she was looking for a new protege. It was one of the best decisions I made, having gained not only a wonderful, and brilliant Patron, but a good friend. I can only hope that I shall continue to make her proud to have taken me own as her protege.

The twins turned one just a little over a month ago, it seems just like yesterday that had been born. And now here they are one year, one month, and ten days old. Each day they grow and their little personalities continue to form them into tiny people, that I pray will be good and just, filled with love for the land, and wonder for the world around them. And above all, kind. I'm starting to wonder if it is time again to start thinking of having more little ones.

Eight months, goodness time has gone by far more quickly then I had thought, and the babies are both so much older, and bigger. It has been a true joy watching them each grow, and their little personalities starting to emerge and develop. If there is one thing I hope for, it is that they will share our love for animals and the land. But really I only pray for them to have happy lives, that are filled with wonder, and good things for them.

In just a couple days, the twins will be seven months old. Thinking back to two years ago, I had not thought I would ever get to be a mother. And now here I am with two beautiful children. I feel very blessed in this moment. Each moment I get to spend with them, is a blessing.

It felt like we had a very informative and productive family and friends meeting. I'm thankful for everyone who showed up for it.

Relationship Note on Sunniva

I'm glad Marquessa Sunniva joined the Keaton Picnic, it was great finally getting to see her again, after so long. I'm looking forward to getting to further catch up with her, and her husband Marquis Orvyn, as well. And introduce her to Kierlys and Kristoph. Perhaps we should bring her a gift, I think I know the perfect one, too!

I'm glad Kedehern and I were able to make it to the Keaton Picnic and Hunt. It was wonderful getting to hunt, as well as spend time with family and friends. Thank you, to Marquis Kael, and Marquessa Reigna for putting it together, and hosting it!

Relationship Note on Kedehern

My wonderful husband got me the most adorable gift, a little calico kitten. She still needs a name though. Perhaps Lady Mabelle will help me name her.

My birthday is soon, it feels so strange thinking on how I will be another year older, and looking back over just this past year and all the things I have done and accomplished. I think the biggest ones are becoming a Baroness, and a mother. And then I think of the future and all that it holds not just for me, but my Barony, and my family. And the compact too.

It seems the time to leave for Brightshore is coming upon us soon, I'm entirely filled with excitement for the trip, and the chance to find a place that has not been seen by others in centuries. I had thought of trying to bring them some Frosthope, but I am not sure if the plant would be able to grow there or not. Either way, I hope to bring a plant with me, as my gift.

Relationship Note on Kedehern

It's been two months now since Keirlys and Kristoph were born, and I find myself even more in love with them then when I first held them. If you had asked me a few months ago if I could imagine feeling so much love for one person, I would not have been able to. But now, I am just in awe of them everyday. Sure, there are times of frustration, but it is worth it, they are worth it. And I'm thankful for my wonderful husband, too. He's been a wonderful partner, and an excellent father to our children.

Lord Kastelon, I am so glad to hear that you love the hound I picked for you. I hope you and Resolute have many great adventures, and excellent hunts.

I never thought of how deeply a parent's love can run, not until I myself became one. And know I see my mother and father in a whole new way. And it makes me even more thankful for them. And the support and love they gave to me. I realize in many ways I was--am very blessed to have them, as my parents. I can only hope to be as great as they are as a parent, myself.

Also, getting two nannies was a life saver. Thank you to my wonderful family members that recommended I do it, Duchess Calista Fidante, Marquessa Reigna Keaton, and my mom, Baroness Margerie Clement.

Still working on getting everything organized for my scouting mission, I am going to be leading. Just waiting on a couple of things before we set off. I want to make sure everyone is well prepared for it, before we go. I'm excited to be getting to lead this mission, but also very aware that it could be very dangerous, for all of us going. I can only hope that together we will succeed in our mission, and keep each other safe through out it. I think I will go to the Shrine of Petrichor later, to pray.

After Duchess Calista's recommendation, and a conversation with my mother, and Reigna's frank words to me about motherhood, and breastfeeding, I have finally hired two nurses to help with the twins. I think Kedehern is breathing a bit easier now, and not worrying over me as much. Or the babies.

The Oresetto dogs were very sweet, it is always interesting getting to learn about new breeds, as well as studying them. Sadly, I was not able to return with one.

Relationship Note on Cristoph

The Laurent dinner garden party was very enjoyable, getting to spend time with family and friends a welcomed blessing from all the other things going on. I'm very thankful to have this chance, and for Cristoph putting it all together. In addition, I wish to say how wonderful my nephew has been, and so supportive of all of his family, and our endeavors.

There is something humbling in working with one's hands to help create and grow new life. To see it flourish, under your care. It was truly an honor being part of creating the garden and grove at the Tina Laurent Teaching Hospital. And to have been able to successfully plant and grow Frosthope, is quite extraordinary, and special. I hope it will help many people, for many years to come. I want to thank Lady Mabelle for giving me this opportunity, and Baroness Brigid Moore, for providing not only the snippets, but some of the best soil I have ever worked with, giving the Frosthope a wonderfully healthy boost in their growth.
