He conspired with another to present me with a gift. This painting is one that will hang in a place of prominence, because I like it a great deal.

Patsy has been in my study for at least an hour, laughing hysterically at this piece of artwork that was done by Master Jyri Tersk. I do believe that Patsy may have found his new favorite. It's good to see him finding something that he enjoys, he brings him peace and contentment.

Such a marvellously talented artist. His depictions of animals are truly remarkable, with an attention to detail that I've rarely seen. It has been absolutely lovely to paint beside him and observe his creativity at work. In addition, he's a person capable of maintaining a quietness that is agreeable to remain within, rather than one that is fraught with awkwardness.

The run wasn't that hard! It was just brisk! Do it each day and it'll get easier. Do it in armor, and you'll be solid as an oak in a few month's time.
For clarity to Vellichor, I had the honor of taking Guard Jyri Tersk through some paces in the honing of athleticism. And I got to meet his dogs! They were lovely and made me want another pet, though I think we'd do better with a cat. They're supposed to be lucky, and good at catching rodents, which is always handy in the Lowers.

It has been a while since I hunted boar and with Guardsman Jyri, we managed to track a formidable one down.

Met a gruff behemoth of a man. We will have to work together, but he appears to love the dogs so I believe we'll be able to get along well enough. He does like to argue, though.

Relationship Note on Jyri
Iron Guard Kennel-master, widower, father of a five year old boy who stays with neighbors or friends while Jyri works. He writes stories, worries about his social skills, which really are quite adequate though not polished. He visited me at the Saik Tower to check on Gunther after Sparte told him I had mentioned that sometimes the dog still remembered and would walk along the old patrol route. He brought 3 of the dogs he is training when he came. They got along well with Gunther and Golden and the five of them played with sticks and balls, had treats and raced along the Tower Garden paths. It was a pleasant afternoon and I enjoyed meeting another person who knew my late husband.

Jyri took a moment to look at Sally today before we found a body in the river.
The dead body was unfortunate.
But it's confirmed! Sally Acorn IS pregnant. I'm afraid she's going to be soiled even more rotten now.
She deserves it though. I'll have to find a new messenger once she gets too heavy though. Hopefully she'll be okay with that. Maybe Muffin is old enough now to take on that responsibility.

I have never had a story written about me, especially such a lovely one! I have never been a wolf!
Now, thanks to Kennelmaster Jyri, I have been able to experience both of those things, and it was wonderful! Okay, only a wolf in metaphor. I did not get on all fours and run around baying at the moon, and if I did, I probably wouldn't need the Kennelmaster to show me how to do it. I assume it's pretty simple! But probably gives you a back ache after a while.
The Kennelmaster writes very good stories, is what I mean to say.
