The 13 Sorrows play is begining to take shape now that all roles have been assigned. It is quite a magnificent piece of history, beautifully written by our anceostors, unfortunately long as it is, we might have to skip the light refreshments and serve lunch, dinner and breakfast for the next day!

'Sorry’ is hard to express,
Especially if it's not what you mean,
Because shallow apologies are like worn out silk that has already lost its sheen.
‘Sorry’ is a difficult word,
Yet carries a heavy weight,
Heavier when meaningless certainly, you can drop yours in the ocean in a crate.
‘Sorry’ is a useful tool,
Though there’s uncertainty at your aim,
Since pointless needling is quite overdue and it's becoming rather lame.
‘Sorry’ is a word you keep using,
It matters not if for a lover or a wife,
Just keep all your ‘sorries’ because you’re giving me the worst headache of my life.

I was pleased to see my friends enjoy some fun facts about bees. It was a very enjoyable morning and I was grateful for all those who arrived and brought or sent gifts! However, with reading so much about bees before the event, I do not want to hear about bees anymore in my life!

It seems the constant traveling brings fatigue that finds me without my graces. The group of artists we were escorting to Artshall were.. special.
I am grateful for the company of my peers from Arx that managed to keep the journey pleasant and without further trouble.

I was very pleased to finally complete the rooms behind the Fire Bee this week. I hope it will be of good use to those who do not have shelter, to lift one concern from their satchel of worries toward settling in and becoming part of Arx's society. I truly believe that while charity is important, it is no less important to preserve one's dignity. It is not always easy to ask for help and so there is no need to ask. Single people, couples or families can simply walk in and claim a bed for the night.

Our Winter Wonderland Festival is coming up tomorrow and I am pleased the report the sleigh intended snow mountain is higher than usual this year! I'm also excited for the new whiskey brew Master Venturo worked out with that mysterious sap we found in the outskirts of Artshall - it is supposed to have a real kick!

The silent auction by the Disciples of Jayus offered quite an interesting selection of paintings and sculptures and I was glad to be able to procure a few of them for the Gallery in Artshall. I've collected enough by now to build a lovely gallery along the inner wall of the Dire Bee Lounge, pieces of art and heirloom, artifacts and paintings honoring the gods as well of replicas of the pieces sent back home.
I hope to find more artists soon to nurture and perhaps take charge of things in the district. Either way, I plan to have that collection grow.

Whlie threats are looming over us and attention is diverted for help to Bastion and threats that constantly surround us, I am blessed there are others who see the importance of maintaining some sort of normalcy to live with after.
Preperations for the Art District are continuing, with the construction almost done, all that's left is to fill the halls. I am grateful for the assistance of Whisper Aconite in planning for the summer blooms and Ladies Zoey, Kiera and Master Jareth in producing the plays that will be showing in the first few months of the theatre.
As for me, I am personally working with Baroness Amari on the play that will share the fascinating story of how House Laurent came to bee. Soon we shall be holding auditions for actors. I'm very excited for the future. Almost as much as I dread it for other reasons!
