The Mother of Mercy

Any who live long enough shall be no stranger to loss or grief. The Faithful of Arx experienced it recently with the passing of Grandmaster Lyra of the Knights of Solace. Now, again, we experience it with the passing of Mother Mercy Margarithe.
Blessed Lagoma has guided them through the greatest of changes, and now the Queen of Endings shall steward their souls until they are given a new beginning. We celebrate their time with us even as we mourn their departure.
Our Mother's lifetime was devoted to the well-being of others and to the empowering of those who would see to their care. The Mercies of Lagoma ever remain committed to that divine mandate.
So it is that with the support of my brothers and sisters of Mercy; with the blessing of the Most Holy, Dominus Aldwin; and with heavy heart yet unbroken spirit that I assume the mantle of the Mother Mercy of Arx. Unto my final breath, I swear that all that may be healed, no matter the source or the nature of the wound, shall be healed.
