Given their actions in attacking the people of Tyde and reaving our lands without cause, House Tyde declares war on House Nightcove. Those members of the house and her vassals on Tyde land have one day upon the reading of this announcement in the Domain to leave under guest right or surrender to show they had no part in this treachery. Any found free on Tyde land after this will be taken to the cliffs and presented to the sea. Any and all ships bearing the flag of Nightcove are fair game for the ships of Tyde. Let their goods pay the bloodprice for the families of those we have lost.
We trust that Helianthus had nothing to do with their vassal's treachery, and invite them to convince their vassal to surrender, or to join Tyde in restoring order to those who would kill our people.
We call on our vassals to raise their armies and fleets, to join Tyde in defending what we have all fought to regain. What is ours, by right and by tradition. We also call upon our allies, including the houses of Ashford and Acheron, to join us in defending our lands against this assault.
