Guildmaster Emeritus Joscelin Arterius

When we are called, we are called. There are those in the compact who would understand. We cannot turn away, we will not turn away. We heed, we follow. It is what we need to do.
Guildmaster Emeritus Joscelin Arterius heeds the Jyaus' call and she sets to the road to answer it with her children by her side and all that she considers precious to her. She leaves behind that which she helped build, safely in the hands of those that she believed would carry on what she reforged. She will be wreathed in joy and love and fond memories.
Each of us is and will be saddened by the sudden departure. Most departures from our lives are such. Without warning, leaving us reeling and eventually gathering around a fire to drink and share the stories of the one who has left. We can take comfort that she has not passed to the Queen of Endings embrace but merely beyond our shores, to parts unknown and a journey that I surmise, most of us would be envious about.
So this day, this night and for the next thirteen nights, in the traders tavern, the Crafters Guild will stand the cost of all drinks. Lift up your cups, wish the Goodwoman joy, happiness and swift wings on her journey. She will be missed.
