For the Fallen Sword

Luca served as the wielder of Elvesbane, Sword of Bastion, and Prince of Grayson. While he did not fall in battle, or in doing a great service to our House, he died as he lived, in pursuit of the spirit of adventure, accepting the risks that it brought him.
House Grayson mourns for the loss of our prince, as I mourn for the loss of my friend. We accept the nature of what befell him as kin to an accident. There is no doubt in my mind that he was worthy of the honors with which he has been posthumously heaped.
Elvesbane is restored to the hand of the King as Luca is returned to the Queen of Endings. We will hold his memory in our hearts as a reminder not to take ourselves so seriously in life.
