Proteges

Just a heads up since I think there might be confusion on this, but proteges are thematically seen often as someone that is being cultivated and developed by their social superior, a noble that outranks them. It can hard to remember since players are going to be way more egalitarian than a fantasy world, but nobles are just regarded as better class of person than a commoner, and there's an implicit understanding that by right of birth they are imparting some of their greatness on people they associate with and can make more cultured, refined, etc. It's -okay- for nobles to have other reasons for taking proteges (someone that's just very useful to them), but I wanted to make sure that their choice of who they take can be reflected on them, as other peers would see it as a noble's vote of confidence and being willing to put their prestige behind a protege, and that it indicative of a noble's judgment.
