Lodge Events and You
Posted by Puffin on 10/25/18
Hey folks! I'm getting Lodge scene invites sent out and because we don't really want to run these for the next 6 months I'm sending out invititions and hoping people can make the times. If you can attend, fantastic! If you can't attend though, what does this mean for you?
First, you'll still get an invite to the plot night. This means you can read up on what happened and know all that info IC.
Second, for the sake of IC purposes, you're still considered to be there and present - just in the background. We don't go overboard puppeting people's characters and whatnot, but your character WILL be there IC.
Third, while generally we don't set out to kill anyone deliberately (if I set up to kill someone deliberately it's because they've asked to be written out), your write-up in your actions will include a certain amount of risk. It IS possible to die on actions, and not showing up to the event doesn't mean you get a free pass to take insanely dangerous actions and not risk anything. No one wants to kill offline people, but if you take a high risk action, the risk is still yours.
I am not saying any of this to freak anyone out. No one WANTS to kill characters, but sometimes it happens in the course of doing crazy and necessary things. And that's the story. If no one from a group can make it I'll probably attempt a reschedule once, but probably not for too many times.
So. Good luck. Please don't make me kill you. May the (dice) odds be ever in your favor.
