Details are extremely scant and conflicting rumors abound, but word reaches Arx of the assassination of Duke Giovanni Rubino. Most agree he was murdered inside his own bedroom in the House Rubino estate in Gemecitta, with his son Lord Valkieri Rubino confronting the assassin mere moments after the deed was committed. With regret, the house guard for House Rubino reports that the assassin escaped justice, and can only offer their condolences to the new Duke Valkieri of House Rubino.
