There's a disturbance in the Upper Boroughs that attracts the Iron Guard, as the home of Morton Waldo is set on fire, drawing many guardsman and citizens of Arx to contain the blaze before it spreads. Morton Waldo was a merchant with a reputation for unscrupulous behavior, and had been connected to fencing for the Lower Boroughs though there was never evidence that could justify being brought before the Inquisition. It's unclear what started the blaze, as the servants fled after they heard 'something large rummaging around the estate', and swear they thought they heard a horse. No sign of Morton's body is found after the fire is contained.
