United We Stand

Princess Lark, High Lord of Grayson, makes it known that Grayson is rallying the banners. Princess Cara gets to work, sending messengers to all of the vassals who aren't in Arx, and meeting with those who are. She sets up rallying points as coordinated by General Reese. She makes sure the army is well supplied. But most of all she reminds her people that Grayson marches to war in defense of the cause of justice and of the Compact, for they are Foremost and Highest of the Great Houses, and they will allow no one to forget it -- and for vengeance, for fallen Dame Zhayla, and fallen Lord Killian, both Grayson-sworn and honorable, brought low by pirate scum.
Prince Ainsley, having learned difficult lessons lately, tells tales of the Silent War and how instrumental the Grayson armies were. He encourages them to fight honorably for Gloria and for each other, fighting with all they have. Princess Tikva also works hard, not just singing but also more general aid in preparing the soldiers for war.
Duke Harlan Ashford reaches out to merchants and other contacts on behalf of all of Grayson, to make sure that supplies are well stocked. Countess Mia Riven starts a letter-writing campaign to remind Graysons of the need to present a united front against the would-be Pirate King, of the value of the Compact itself, and of the importance of defending it as one single land. Count Thesarin Riven also joins the call, encouraging his fellows under the Grayson banner to also answer the call. Sometimes a little peer pressure goes a long way, and he's hoping for mutual defense and support, working together now and paving the way for working together in the future. Marquis Malesh Stonewood is criss-crossing the countryside on a diplomatic tour, and continues to encourage all to join the efforts to stand together.
Baron Silas Whitehawk too responds to the King's call to arms. He musters his people at Hawkhold and start making the long journey northward, even as the Iron Guard prepares in Arx with added patrols, training, and shelter and evacuation plans.
