Huh, About Those Merchants

It seems an awful lot of the merchants in the Ward of the Compact have lowered their prices back down to reasonable levels, and a fair number of those doing the most egregious price gougi--ahem, market adjustments--have also lowered their prices at least...a little bit. The cost of luxury goods remains quite high, but basic staples are more or less down to pre-whirlpool levels, and for the moment they appear to be staying there. A few of these merchants go to great lengths to praise Princess Ornella Velenosa, although their reasons are rather vague. She's a Very Caring Person seems to be the gist of it.
