Word spreads throughout the duchy of Stormwall and the Northlands that a party from Arx settled the civil strife that had been springing up in Westwind Point. The rumors that reach Arx suggest that Vala Khanne, Elder Mirk and Lady Volcica Stahlben of the Spirit Walkers helped bring Westwind Point under the leadership of a new shaman, along with the help of Princess Gwenna Redrain, Lady Rosalind Ravenseye, and Rukhnis Al-Katibi. Beyond rumor, the Countess of Bonespire, Arcadia Stahlben returns to Arx with severe injures, and it is reported that she was near death for several days.

The news is condemned vehemently by the Seraph of Sanctum, and several letters are dispatched to the Dominus in Arx and the Seraph of Stormwall, complaining of the 'gross superstition and idolatry' inherent in the practice the 'so called Old Ways.' Nevertheless, the news is met with a degree of amusement by the people of the Northlands, and a number of festivals spring up near ancient places that had been associated in folklore with the presence of spirits.
