A Songbird's Concert

The Nightingale, Whisper Gianna, puts on a solo concert at the Bard's College and it goes over swimmingly. The house is packed, the crowd excited, and the songs - unique and exclusive songs for the Nightingale, written by Prince Niklas, are widely acknowledged to be a rousing success. As one critic writes the next morning, "The Nightingale's latest concert was an insouciant mixture of highbrow melodic tone and sly lyrics, creating a juxtaposition rare and unusual." Critics are widely acknowledged to be very pleased with the sound of their own voices, but in this case everyone agrees it was a wonderful concert.
