Daniella's Speech

Princess Daniella Velenosa makes a speech on behalf of House Daveiga's cause, and the Lyceum seeking justice for their murdered vassals on House Fournier's lands. She also calls upon Fournier's lieges to pressure their vassal to cede lands to the House Daveiga, being annexed by the city-state of Rivincita, and to House Volkov, and she pledges to fund sellswords from her own funds to support Marquessa Magdalena Daveiga's war. Response is much what you'd expect.
Most of the Oathlands peers are outraged, calling upon House Velenosa to repudiate their princess, and calling it an affront to immediately place blame upon House Fournier for what was assuredly the work of bandits or some malevolent group trying to frame the old and noble house, or the work of rogue elements.
Among Arx's Lycene, Daniella is being celebrated for saying what most of them were thinking, and that it is a sign of the false honor so prized in th Oathlands. Many Lycene peers offer to match Daniella's claim to pay for sellswords out of pocket, and the sellsword guild in Arx is doing brisk business, with rumors of at least three sellsword companies being hired by Lycene peers.
On the Great Road near Fournier lands, word of a battle between Daviega and Fournier forces reaches Arx, and it's claimed a rallying cry from the Daviega forces was "for Gabrina!" A clear reference to Daniella's speech. While details are sketchy, rumors are that forces under Marquessa Magdalena's command routed the Fournier skirmish forces who fell back towards Cassyl, while Daviega holds the Wineroad Pass and is currently blocking all Oathlands travelers from passing into the Lyceum.
