Princess Saoirse has been the rhetoric speaker of the Crown for a while now and has earned a reputation for making witty puns - about those involved, about the situation, just in general: she provides a small wink at the less uproarious announcements, allowing the common folk to know that their nobility has a sense of humor about itself most of the time. She has been careful to issue punny proclamation responses only to issues that are not grave -- death announcements don't really seem the place -- and the people do notice. Even the King is on board, and though sometimes it seems people take themselves Way Too Seriously, he calms them down when they can't quite see the humor in it. And while the Nox'alfar note that she's not quite as cutting as a Nox would be, they too see what she did there - and approve of this subtle way to integrate a little homage to their patron Goddess in Crown and public culture.
