After House Kennex precipitously freed all their thralls, they faced economic ruin. But the Compact followed the strong leadership of the Faith in this and put their money where their mouth was, offering help both monetary and martial to help shore up the Kennex economy and stabilize the region. Kennex remembers, and now has taken steps toward paying back those debts in full. House Igniseri, House Keaton, and House Riven have all been paid in full. House Bisland - which offered a million silver in aid - generously requested any repayment be given to the Liberators of Skald in their name. The Faith, speaking through Father Orazio, has forgiven their debt as well, urging the House of Kennex to serve the gods, support the righteous, and continue in a path of Faith with dignity, compassion, justice, mercy, and honor.
