Description: A physically imposing man with sculpted, seasoned features which would place him half a dozen years older than his actual age. His red-brown eyes frequently squint with scepticism and his stoic, expressions mean his cruel mouth rarely shifts. His shoulders are broad and his limbs are long, with a fairly impressive musculature that is often hidden by his priestly garb. He has a large, ugly burn on his back from a childhood accident. He walks proudly and allows his full weight to pound the floor, letting his heavy footsteps send a message of intimidation.

Personality: Galavan is cynical, stubborn, self righteous and dismissive. While he acknowledges and respects the authority of the divine, his respect for his fellow man is tepid at best. However he is a hypocrite, though he would be very critical of others, he will show traits of spite, greed, rage and pride fairly often. He is also not above deciept and manipulation to further his own interests which he will rationalise as the ends justifying the means.

Background: Galavan Vizer never knew his father, but always wondered if he would hate him as much as his mother Tessa, if he met him. Tessa the Cold was a strong willed, intelligent woman of charisma. But as one of the very few survivors of the destruction of Tyde she was also extremely bitter, pessimistic and hateful. Most of this ire was directed at House Thrax for the direct actions, but the hatred that pained her was the complicity of the Crown which did nothing to save her nation or any of the many people who were killed that she called her friends. This rage spilled out into her upbringing of Galavan, who in turn inherited many of her nastiest traits and resented her for it. In rebellion of his mother, he studied the religion of the pantheon, becoming fascinated with the power and reverance of the gods. When he became of age he left for Bastion to become a priest, hoping to wash his identity of anything that reminded him of his vicious mother, and re-model his image into something more beneficial for his desires.
