Lady Braelynn Deepwood
If a tree falls in the forest, does anyone hear it?
Description: Of average height and build, Braelynn is lithe and wiry. Her movements are precise and dextrous, and she seems ideally suited to long-range scouting or walks owing to her lean, healthy build. She moves with a controlled sort of grace which bespeaks a high level of activity, and her eyes rarely fail to notice important things around her. But the nigh-perpetual smile on her face gives the impression that she's not judging so much as just taking it all in. Her hair is most often pulled back in a braid or a ponytail, favoring the practical over the dramatic every time.
Personality: Cheerful and blithe, Braelynn is most often found smiling about something. The world seems full of endless amusement to her, and she is genial of spirit and light of heart. She's an outdoors type, who gets restless if she's cooped up too long, but the peace she finds in the woods keeps her happy. Sometimes her attention drifts, and she'll smile at nothing at all - but mostly she is warm and friendly, a pleasure to be around and quite easygoing.
Background: Braelynn Deepwood comes from a long ling of people comfortable with the woods and the forest. Though most of her family chooses to remain homebound, Braelynn found at an early age that she enjoyed walks through the forest and learning about the various trees and other plants that grew there. She would often reference them as her "Serenity Walks" and indeed would come back refreshed and relaxed after. Over time that interest in the forests and plants in general only deepened and now she finds herself the go-to expert for all things horticultural among her family and extended family.
She was close to her cousin Joxur, and as he moved to the city she enjoyed receiving letters from him. She was particularly proud when he was named Sword of Deepwood, and wrote him a glowing letter of congratulations. But gradually her walks in the forest for serenity proved to not give her the calm she wrapped around her like a cloak, and she grew more and more restless. Until at last she decided the only solution was to go visit her extended family and explore new horizons and new forests - and so she came to Arx.
|Alessia||A lover of botanicals. Her empathy for plant life is fascinating.|
|Artur||She must be ever so cold! She seems very nice, but she must have DRAGON BLOOD or something.|
|Domonico||She has a look of someone who is capable of handling herself. Drinking tea instead of wine in the tavern indicates a desire for a clear head as well.|
|Korka||A Lady from Deepwood with good taste in rum who will come to regret offering to buy me a future bottle. I never turn down a free drink.|
|Llyr||Young noble lady who seems very tied to flowers, though she was walking about without something warm. WOUld have offered her my jacket.|
|Olivia||A lovely lady of Deepwood and a fellow gardener. I will have to invite her over!|
|Petal||A garden noble Lady who seems very kind and would probably love the lodge.|
|Reese||Lovely and into flowers. She likely has a special connection with them.|
|Riagnon||A Crownlands lady, judging by her accent. We met in the Stone Grove. Not a worshipper of the Spirits, herself, there was some confusion on the subject of... ehem, human sacrifice.|
|Rosalind||She had no coat! Oh my gosh! She must be a tough lady to brave the elements!|
|Rysen||Beautiful and interesting. Has a gift for writing, and a strong connection with the natural world.|
|Zoey||A sassy one. Definitely inviting her to our next party.|
