Lady Rowynna Blackshore
Sometimes when things are falling apart, they may actually fall into place.
Description: Sable locks fall in disarray around her shoulders, only to be disrupted by a white streak down the right side of her face. Her deep blue eyes look out into the world with knowledge that is beyond her years. Her smooth pale skin has not a freckle or mark, showing she stays out of the sun. She rarely pays attention to what she puts over her hourglass figure, even though at second glance, one might see her beauty. Her fingers are often stained with ink for her many forays into knowledge, writing everything in her journal.
(Her hair has been swept into a loose knot at the nape of her neck.)
Personality: There is always an air of frailty about the young, earnest woman. As if she is uncertain where to place her next word. She only feels comfortable in her skin when there's books surrounding her with her journal open and inkwell filled. Social situations can be a bit awkward. Although, when back into a corner her stubbornness flairs showing that underneath the bookworm is the heart of a fierce protector.
Background: Lady Rowynna Blackshore arrived in Arx with little to her name. She took rooms at a local inn and then immediately reached out to the current baroness, claiming to be the distant relative of Baroness Skye Blackshore. A cousin from the Blackshore side of the family that was estranged two generations ago and took settlement elsewhere than Blackshore Isle. She heard of Skye's efforts to restore the family's isle and has arrived in Arx to assist with the rebuilding efforts. Baroness Skye Blackshore met with her and seemed satified with the relation since she does have the striking Blackshore Cerulean eyes that is signature for relatives in the bloodline.
Of course, this mysterious lady has done little to fill in anymore details. She has been spending most of her time in the Great Archives doing research and assisting the Blackshores with their rebuilding. Although, something odd that one of the social mavens noticed is that Lady Rowynna is almost the exact replica of Lady Elisabe Blackshore's painting that hangs in one of the gallerys in Arx. Lady Elisabe didn't have a white streak in her hair. The resemblence is uncanny. Of course they couldn't be the same person. Baron Oswald's sister had that painting done when she turned eighteen twenty-six years ago. It certainly lends credit that Lady Rowynna is a Blackshore.
|Caprice||A retiring book cover, filled to bursting with good humor, generosity, and love for her family. I'm excited to see what the next new page will reveal!|
|Domonico||Thoughtful, she asks questions pertinent to the situation as well as having her opinions and answers readily available. Her relationship with her family is commendable too.|
|Dorian||Dorian actually quite enjoys her personality and intelligence, despite the rather abrasive impression he seemingly made on her. While he initially wanted to seduce her, now he has something of a fondness for her mind, and wants to get to know her more.|
|Evaristo||We keep meeting at the most diverse events, and it's always a delight. I wonder what the next one will be?|
|Gaspar||A stark difference from the others of her family that I've met so far, she wears grace and civility the way the rest of her kin do austerity. A feast for the eyes, I find her company utterly delightful. Lovely, charming and clever, Lady Rowynna will be indelible throughout Arx and the Compact.|
|Lenard||A young Lady who seems to be a Scholar of Vellichor. She seems quite dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge, but seems to carry some sort of sorrow or melancholy. I wonder why?|
|Martino||Like a fine sea breeze, my former protege returns to the city. Curious of mind, determined in action. She returns with a plan in her hands and a path to see it through.|
|Romulius||My dear cousin, and a new source of friendship and resolve. Her arrival was one of the greatest fortunes to fall upon our family.|
|Sabella||I always adore meeting new Blackshores for they are always so interesting and Lady Rowynna is no exception! She's lovely and pleasant and seems to have a scholarly bent about her or at least a notebook into which she takes copious amounts of notes! I should quite like to get to know her better!|
|Venturo||The Lady Blackshore is a woman who has more than meets the eye. A professed desire to learn how to persuade, yet with a blush that hints at a coyness already honed. Talk of scholars and research, yet a love of family and curiosity for new people and places. And she bribes with cinnamon rolls!|
