Status: Resolved Public: True GM: None

Action by Reese

Reese is making a point of visiting the shrines of the gods on a regular basis, especially Gloria. While she is doing it for her own private reasons, she is also making sure to be seen sometimes by the people of Compact. This is in part to (attempt) to help show that the Grayson family are still religious and have not turned their back on the faith over this all. She makes a point as she goes about her life of being a follower of Gloria, carrying around the prayer book and so forth. She spoke of Gloria in her journal and at her spars in the training grounds. She performs rituals to Gloria. She has been seen once with Orazio in public and has been seen with a follower of the church Merek on the more than one occasion.

She is currently providing security outside the vigil as a Iron Guard. She intends to keep all parties safe, including the crown, the faith, the nobles and those at the vigil. She wants to make sure the law is followed and things stay orderly.

Result

House Grayson and the Faith certainly appreciate the show of support, and Reese's actions are in large part a reason why there's a lack of violence, reminding Grayson vassals that the Faith is not the enemy and vice versa. There is some irritation among northlanders however- their excommunication and call out for shamanism struck them as particularly unfair, and they aren't great fans of anyone attempting to win back the Faith at present.
