The doors to the Petrioch office of the Eurusi Consulate are open but well-guarded. A stick of sandalwood incense burns with a pleasant scent on the edge of the ornate desk, while the hookah is lit and ready to be enjoyed in the velvet alcove. Colorful silks and cushions surround a large, low table in that nook, which holds a variety of platters of food. Drinks on a mirrored drink cart are ready to be enjoyed, and servants come and go occasionally, checking on needs. Fatima is sitting at her desk currently, going over paperwork. "And Lord Titus," she says to her aide, Saroch, a middle-aged Eurusi man in yellow Eurusi robes, "well, we'll figure it out when we begin organizing the flotilla. Put him with the Archduke's people for now," she murmurs quietly. The aide bows, and takes up a sheaf of vellum, and bustles out of the room. Fatima pauses her work to pick up a crystal glass filled with rum and takes a sip. The Princess is looking particularly majestic. It's something new. There's something different about her, but it's really quite difficult to tell what it is precisely.

A flock of ladies-in-waiting, 3 Thrax Guards, 2 Thrax Elite Guards, Advocate Robert, a fastidious well dressed assistant, Coconut Custard, the Graypeak Mountain Dog arrive, following Alarissa.

Titania comes moving through the Eurusi Consulate, she never been here before and so her steps are slow as she looks around before stepping into the Private office. Her Ocean blue eyes falling onto Fatima, "Your Highness." she says in a soft voice, greeting her in both the ways of the compact and the Eurusi. Someone knows a bit of their ways and greetings, her hands move to fold in front of her, she is wearing her leathers with the strips of starlight silk dyed in many hues of blue tied into her leather armor.

Not long in titania's wake, Alarissa's striding with little in the way of a retinue once she hits the door of the other Thrax princess. The leather false arm barely seen under the sea of cloudspine cashmere, seasilk and pearls. There's a dip of her head to her personal guards and then one of respect to Fatima. "Princess." A glance to Titania. 'lady Kennex"

Fatima turns her attention to Titania as the Kennex lady arrives, and she graces her old friend with a warm smile. "Titania," she says warmly. "I'm so glad to see you again. You have been well, I hope?" she asks, settling back in her chair with her drink. "You're looking well-armored too." A flash of a too-perfect smile, on too-perfect lips. She is radiant with confidence and presence. She has about her the majestic aura of a Queen in truth. No longer is she the princess who struggled with her identity, her place in the Dream. She's found it, and is content, and it shows. She turns her gaze to Alarissa then, her features maintaining a calm composure, the smile remaining. She inclines her head politely to Alarissa in turn. "Your Highness," she greets in turn. "How good of you to come. I have put the resources you sent me to good use, and have been able to acquire more ships for the fleet. I am in your debt," she says. "I am glad that we have a chance to meet and speak before we all set sail into the Isles. I wonder, will you provide further aid? I could use your help in rallying the lost, the fightened, and those who are no longer bound by writs. War is coming, and I think perhaps it would be best if the people sought shelter from the coming storm."

Titania smiles to Fatima, "I am well for the moment." she says softly and was going to continue when Alarissa arrives and she turns to greet her, "Your Grace." she bows her head in respect for the woman, she looks between the two her lips pulling into a bit of a frown as she looks to them. Her mood shifting as she hears Fatima's words to Alarissa. But for the moment she remains silent as she listens.

"You wanted our ship builders, now you want my words." There's a roll of Alarissa's eyes but one that indicates she is teasing. What next Fatima, you want him to stand on the ships beside you?" There's a small smile on her face. "I can see what I can do. War is always coming, Thrax does what it can to mitigate it and fight." She moves, taking up a seat, adjusting the lay of the left arm then her skirts.

Curving her lips in a small smile at Alarissa's eye-roll, Fatima lifts her shoulder in a careless shrug. "We all do what we must, your Grace," she says pleasantly. I shall not ask anything of you that you're not willing to give freely of your own will." She gives Alarissa a warmer smile, then she glances back to Titania. "Were you going to say something, Titania?" she asks. "I do apologize." She gestures to the spread on the table. "And please, do help yourselves to the refreshments, or ask one of the servants. Whatever suits." She lifts her glass again and takes another sip, looking back to Titania.

Titania breaths deeply as she stands a bit straighter, "I actually was coming to speak with you about your trip and those you take with you Princess Fatima." she looks to Alarissa for a moment then looks back to Fatima, "I was coming to ask you not to go, not now at least." she knows what she is asking of the woman but she stands there watching her with her Ocean blue eyes a very serious look in her eyes.

"She knows Titania. About Leviathan, the deepwater. I made her aware after you had left to speak to me of the demise of the Marin'Alfar. Fatima has long been sailing while the darkwater was here, before marin was sent back to the Queen. Have faith in her" Alarissa relays from where she's sitting.

Fatima lifts her eyebrows at Titania's request, and sits forward a little in her chair. "Well," she says, "I am not sailing to Eurus just yet. The fleet is not large enough. Hence the need to recruit. Is there a specific reason you would like for me to delay all these plans that we have been making?" she asks, looking concerned by Titania's serious look. She glances to Alarissa briefly as the Princess Consort speaks up, and nods, then back to Titania. "I am aware that all of the shardhavens in the Isles have been emptied, and that the Darkwater... Bloodwater... whatever," she says, lifting her hand in a little wave, "is gone. I am also aware that Azazel has consumed Fable, Legion and probably Ruin, and now seeks to march upon Arvum with an army of his many twisted creations. I am aware," she says softly, her gaze soften as well, "of the demise of the Marin'alfar. I was just informed of this today, in fact." She glances to Alarissa, and then to Titania. "I was not told how it happened, however. Might you be able to shed some light on it?" she asks.

3 Black Fleet Reavers, Moonsilver, the pale-feathered raven arrive, following Raven.

Titania looks to Alarissa, "It is not just because of the Darkwater and the Marin'alfar your Grace." she looks to Fatima, she swallows hard but she stands there a look on her face. "They lost their fight with the Abyss Fatima, I was there I watched as Elf and Demon died as they slowly lost their battle and I was sent back to tell the compact the water is lost the abyss controls the waves, Leviathan roams free and the compact needs to understand not every fight is one to be won." she takes a breath, "I ask you not to leave and take others with you as Azazel marches on Arx, we will need everyone to help protect the city." she looks to Alarissa, "Unless you wish for him to reach the thinnest point and destroy this world."

"Be careful with your words and accusation Titania. I have done things and sacrificed for this world in ways that none would ever know, and will likely never know. Things that should have put me in the hall of heroes, but I will never be there. I have placed my own reputation before yours on a beach many years ago and bore the brunt of Petals prodigal bullshit when I knew your reputation could not bear it." Alarissa plucks at her skirt. "I don't wish for that thing to succeed and neither would Fatima. What we give to her as a house and a family has no bearing on what Thrax throws to defend Arx." The smile is gone.

Raven steps in, weapon peacebound and all her guardians-feathered and otherwise left elsewhere. She cautiously peers in. Sensing tension in the air she loiters in the threshold and listens.

Fatima listens to Titania's plea with sympathy in her expression. But in the end, her features remain resolute. "I understand what you are asking, Titania," she says softly, regretfully. "But the Thinnest Point is merely one third of the picture." She lifts her glass for a sip, and rises from her seat at the desk, turning to gaze out the window. She twitches a velvet curtain aside, watching a gardener tending to the gardens outside. "The Prophet of the Sands in Eurus is a Fractal by the name of Obsidian," she says after a moment, turning to look at Titania. "He is currently hunting the Seals to the prison of the Sleeper. He is hunting the Great Seal. He gathers a great army, preparing to sail /here/, and join with Azazel." She looks to Titania. "I mean to stop him." She draws a breath, then lets it out. "The Thinnest Point is not my fight. The Prophet, and the Dune Emperor - those are my fight. We cannot focus all of our attention in one place. That was the mistake that was made in the Reckoning," she says with a frown.

"As for Leviathan," she says, her eyes narrowing. "I do not fear Leviathan." For a moment, it seems like that aura of majesty around her becomes more radiant. She gazes at Titania, with eyes that now seem a perfect shade of blue-green, somewhere between aquamarines and peridot, her features almost painfully perfect, her poise and presence almost palpable. "I am a Queen, and I have a duty to protect my father's people, who need to learn how to be free, just as we have learned," she says, gazing at Titania regretfully. A glance is given to Raven, noticing her at the threshold, and then she's looking to Alarissa. "I, too, have made sacrifices. I've made mistakes. I have regrets," she says softly, looking to Alarissa earnestly. But then she's looking back to Titania. "But I don't believe the choice I am making, the choice many are making, is a mistake. Some must go to Eurus. Some must stay and protect the Thinnest Point and the City. Some must protect the Seals." She lifts her shoulder again, in one of those casual shrugs, and sighs, picking up her drink once more. She looks to Titania. "But, I do not wish to close my mind to all advice," she says contemplitavely. "You say you were 'sent' back to warn us. Who sent you?" she asks, sipping her drink.

Titania looks to Alarissa, "That was a life time ago your grace, we are all very different people now and have all done things for the good of the compact and lost things and have regrets." she looks to Fatima her head raises to meet the woman's eyes, "I can not go, I can not help you Fatima." she shakes her head, "You may not fear it but I have been hunted by it, felt its dark water seep down my throat." she breaths deeply watching the woman who proclaims herself a queen. "I was sent back by a dying Marin'alfar by the name of Serena." just saying the name physically hurts Titania as she breaths deeply. "Tell them the water is lost, the monster rule now." she looks to Fatima. "I can not help you in this."

Alarissa rolls her eyes, not in teasing this time, but remains quiet, a glance to the door when Raven enters and a faint dip of her head to the woman.

Raven siiighs and looks to Fatima. It's a quiet but distinctly reproachful look. She dips into a bow to those gathered "What's your exact concern, Lady Titania?"

Fatima listens to Titania, and there is sorrow in her perfectly beautiful face, but she inclines her head. "It is your choice, Titania," she says gently. "Stay. Protect the city. I shall not try to convince you to go against your principles, or what you think is right. But I am thankful to you for coming here with this warning. I shall take it to heart and make the others who go with me aware. We do not sail for Eurus just yet... there is work yet to do, to tend to those refugees who have no memories, to help them find shelter. This, in the midst of preparations. Should something change before we take our leave for Eurus, plans can be adapted. For now," she says, with a look to Titania, "We carry on."

The Princess sips her drink, and then looks to Raven, a smile turning her lips up. "Raven," she greets. Then she resumes her seat, with a glance to Alarissa, in time to notice the eye-roll. There's a thoughtful look on her features, otherwise composed, as she looks back to Raven.

Titania looks to Raven, "Raven, it does not matter." she looks at Alarissa when her eye roll, "I have opened Hospitalis Harbor for those of the Eurusi who are looking for safely." she looks to Fatima. "It is how I will help for now." she looks at Alarissa, She look like she may say something but she stops herself and looks back to Fatima for a long moment and turns to head for the door.

Alarissa "Speak. It's fine Titania. We are in private. It's not like i'll strike you down where you stand."

Raven lifts an eyebrow "Sounds like it probably does, my lady." she turns towards Alarissa and her eyebrows lift in silent question.

Fatima glances between Titania and Alarissa, and sighs softly. "Yes, if there is grievance, it is best to simply air it," she says quietly. "Gods know, right now is the best time really to be sharing with one another. It weakens Azazel that much further. Keeping things bottled in not only makes him stronger, but it also gnaws away at the heart, until there is only pain left." She lifts her drink, taking a sip, but she otherwise remains out of whatever is passing between Alarissa and Titania.
