It is so terribly fitting such a bright, warm young woman arrived with the spring. She suits the season well, and I think I will always attribute it to her now. I look forward to see her blossom in this city; no doubt she will bring her own colours to liven the world around her.

The Orangery at the Ashford estate is spectacular. Lady Olivia has achieved a truly remarkable task in creating, and caring, for that wonderful space. You could certainly see the pride in Duke Harlan for his sister's efforts as well. It is really rather lovely to be holding little parties again -- the parlour game seemed to go well too.

With a heavy heart the Whisper House bids a temporary farewell to Selene, and see an end to her time as Radiant. Although it is a great loss to bear, all things have their end and in such a new beginning. The process of deciding the next Radiant is underway now our time spent grieving in Selene's wake is over.
We will after all see her again, and never forget her efforts for the Whisper House.
A new chapter in the House begins and I am without even a shadow of a doubt every Whisper is capable of upholding our rich and illustrious history. Whatever comes, I look forward to it, knowing we will always strive for greater things.

My warmest congratulations to Dame Esoka and Master Calaudrin on their union. Both strong, brave and golden hearted, I could not be happier for them. Lovely Esoka looked magnificent in her finery and I hope the pair find themselves still dancing by the sun tomorrow morning.

Relationship Note on Lumen
As ever, it is a delight to find myself in Lumen's company. More so when I hear she has already found herself busy within the city; such an asset to the Whisper House. I will always look forward to tea and wine with her, even if it is just to play witness to her counsel. There is so much more than the starlit beauty she carries with such effortlessness. To see her bloom in grace does well to remind me of the unique talents that make up our Whispers.

Relationship Note on Aleksei
A sword lily, though it goes by many other names, is my choice of flower to best suit Aleksei -- since this seems to be the topic of the moment. The zinnias while beautiful and speak of summer were nice but still pale, I think, in comparison. Both are summer flowers, both have beautiful blooms but the sword lily, come the warm, stretch for the sun with an unmatched vibrancy. They bespeak all things sunny, charmed, and have never once failed to make me smile on seeing them.
That and by virtue of it's name, lends to his skill with a sword.

I still maintain my aeterna and white pelt robe is easily the warmest, and most beautiful cloak to be had -- someone utterly wonderful gave it to me.

I am so incredibly proud, and inspired, by Bliss and her efforts in creating an Evening of Bliss. The night was an absolute success, and one I was honoured to be a part of. The performance was breathtaking, the company exquisite and I think the guests all enjoyed the food provided; rules and all. Simply wonderful, and of course, thanks goes to both the Whispers that attended as well as our charming guests, and to all that presented gifts that have gone to such an important cause.

It was an effort made by so many but it all came together rather well, and I was delighted by the results. The Lodge looked magnificent -- and I got my snowfall of flowers. My poor attendants looked at the roof in horror when I first told them, but they pulled it together, bless them. I was rather happy to see each guest, even those that might never agree to it, donning the flower crowns.
The food, provided by the Lodge, was phenomenal and I could not fault a single piece.
Oh, I do love a party. Especially if there are flower petals falling from above.
