It has been a week of interesting times. Meeting new faces and getting things ready for the family as they have arrived back into the city. I look forward to the continued involvement of Greenmarch in the social circles of our society, and, I thank everyone who has been kind enough to come by.

I write a caution, a caution with no ill intent. When you assume things about someone, especially in public...Ask yourself three things.
1. What does it benefit me, or anyone here for me to say or do such a thing?
2. Will this help or hurt my standing, or the standing of someone else?
3. Do I know this to be true enough to risk the consequences of my words or actions, or am I making a mistake and assuming with wild abandon?
I shall not tell you what to decide should you answer those questions one way or another, thinking about them enough should guide one to the right decision.

It is with great pleasure that I write to record the arrival of Neve. More of our family are on their way from Greenhaven and soon we will all be returned. It is my hope and my desire that everyone knows our commitment to unity and our desire to see the Compact prosper. Now, it is our dream that we all stand Untamed and Unconquered.

It is good to have returned to the city. My time in Greenhaven was wonderful, however, my family here needs my help as well and it is time that I directed some focus in that direction. Expect great things to soon come from Greenmarch, for when united we are Untamed and Unconquered.

As with many others, the recent proclamation has brought me some thoughts. While some seem to be in uproar about it, it has brought me mostly confusion.
The word chosen by the Dominus was renounce. To renounce shamanism and it's traditions. This to me would indicate a complete and utter disavowing of the spirits. Is that the line that is drawn? Can you acknowledge the spirits exists, yet devote yourself solely to the Gods and it will still be fine under this 'renouncement'? Is it the act of speaking to the spirits that makes you ineligible for discipleship? At which point is the acknowledgement of the spirits too much for any one to be allowed to be a disciple?
I also note that if this is now a hard line of complete renouncement, I would have expected to see a significantly larger portion of the Faith doing so or leaving their service, including several that has been clarifying this proclamation in the whites since.

History is important. I didn't use to think so, growing up. They were stories, rambled on by old people trying to relive their glory days. Now, I wish I had more of those stories. Trying to piece together our history, scattered in fragments, told and retold through generations is a puzzle without end. When it is finished, you cannot even be sure if it resembles the original truth or not, or has been distorted through the years to fit what the tellers want it to be.
With that in mind, I have decided to collect what of our history I can find. Not only ours, either, but that of all Prodigals. Their culture, their history, their stories and fairytales and songs. We cannot learn from what is forgotten. Let them all be remembered.

We owe many thanks to House Telmar for lending my sister, Lady Monique, back to us to serve as Voice when few others were available to shoulder the responsibility.
Through the magnanimity of Duke Arn Telmar, she has served her old family faithfully, and we are both happy and somewhat mournful that she is now free to fully shoulder whatever responsibilities House Telmar and the Duke has for her.
I am certain her future will reflect as well on House Telmar as it has Greenmarch.
