All those months of training, honing my craft and trying to better myself as a knight have paid off. Well, at least a little bit. Granted it's not quite slaying a foe on the battlefield or gaining honor for my house, but capturing the prized pink flag in a contest to climb a slope is certainly a start, I suppose!

An eventful evening at House Grayson; a fine dinner with fine company. Well, save the one gentleman who arrived late and dressed like a pauper. He seemed rather fascinated with Duke Malcolm... but, he is a rather interesting man. Perhaps it was nothing.

Relationship Note on Michael
At the behest of my cousin, Duke Michael, I have finally arrived in Arx. This is not the same place I knew; it feels so much larger than it did when I was a child. One would think the opposite would be the case and yet here we are. I already long for the familiarity of Pridehall but am content enough to oblige Michael for the time, and remain here to serve the family as he sees fit. It is the least I could do.
