The Last will of Estaban Saik, Baron of Saikland Greens, Admiral of Southport and Iron Guardsman
With my death, all my things are left to Lucita, my wife lest she precede me in death, or to the head of House Saik, including my clothing, rings, artwork, books etc, with the exceptions:
To Prince Aiden Grayson, I leave Lion's Reach in hopes that the memory inspires him to remember the strength that he holds inside.
To Princess Caelis Valadrin I leave my battle standard from the Grey River battle and the cobalt bow to be returned to her.
To the Iron Guard my Iron Guard Leather and steel armor and igsinia should be returned to the Lord Commander so that it may serve the next Iron Guardsman.
To Duke Inigo Fidante my child hood friend his sword Nightmare's End is to be returned to him he allowed me to use it during the Seige of Arx and after.
To Lord General Marcos Saik, my dear cousin who has stepped up in so many ways. I leave him Lions Roar the twin bow to my sister Arcelia's.
The sword known as Riptide is to be returned to Dutchess General Calypso Malvici as it belongs to the next Admiral.
The Bow known as Wither shall go to my son or daughter when they are of the right age, if I have twins then the bow will go to whom is born first.
I ask that my son (adopted) Lord Vamos continue with his training and learning, that Artex be given to him.
I ask that Legate Orazio look after all of my children in their teachings of the faith.
I ask that two letters I leave behind one to Baroness Lucita Saik and one to Prince Aiden Grayson be given to them.
To the rest of my friends and loved ones I leave you these words: Remember those who have sailed out by sea and Marched out by land, rememeber to tell the story of the heros who answered the call to king and banner. Remember the choices made today with ripple down and have affects tommorow.

Relationship Note on Lucita
Soon I leave with the fleet to face our enemy on the sea and there is so much I wish to say but I find it so hard to do so.
I know that we will both be protecting people and I know you will be in good hands but I find myself laying away at night watching you my beautiful wife and know that our child grows with in your, the heir to Saik land Greens.

Sometimes this happened that you are not expecting to and last evening was one of those things.
After a lot of thought and speaking with Archscolar Bianca and Brother Driskell I decided to join the scholars.
Yes I know I am sure you are asking why the Baron Admiral is joining the scholars and wishing to work my way up to become a Disciple of Vellichor.
It is as I feel my path and where I need to be, there is much to come in the future and I will make sure that not just myself but others are ready as well.

Just the night before I was with family and friends celebrating my wedding to my beautiful wife and today I went to the funeral of a friend and his sister. I looked up to Fergus he never gave up he was loyal to friends and family and made you want to strive to push on. That is how I will remember the man I called a friend even if we did not cross paths as much as I would have liked. Today I wear the mark to honor them both.

Soon, Soon the Saik family will have a new member and she will be Baroness Lucita Saik.
My good friend Prince Aiden surprised me with a night out at the Inn we were joined by Master Waldemai and Sparte!
Drinks were had and many songs song, people do not let Sparte trick you, he has a very good voice and a very good talent for singing Sea Shanties.
I drank to my soon to be wife.

Relationship Note on Lucita
Its been a while since I have added to the whites, many things have happened. So much I just I don't have the want to write them all but I have become head of my family it still sounds so odd when someone calls me Baron Admiral Estaban Saik. I am sure it will for a while more, I have to say as well that I have found a few friend someone I enjoy being with someone who understands me and takes me for who I am and does not judge me. Thank you Lulu everyday is a step closer to something greater.

Soon I march out to the North, the north where it is cold and you can freeze if you are not careful. I have felt her cold breath nip at me once, I will not make that mistake again. So I take these days before we leave to make sure my men are ready for the cold and the land they will be in, they know the south and this will be a challenge for them, no correction it will be a challenge for us, but I have faith in my men. We will return fear not.

Being a Hero is not a easy job, it means you go through a lot and do a lot to save a lot. But being a Hero is not a compition, it is not a prize to be won. Many call me a Hero of the Siege of Silence because I saved Prince Aiden Graysons life. I have been given many medals and awards for it, does it make me feel any different? In a way yes, I still have a hard time wanting to except them I some times hide them because I feel I should not have been given them because I did what I thought was the right thing not because I wanted to show off or show that I could do it. I almost died, I was l aid up for weeks.
So being a Hero? there is more to it then trying to out due someone else or to be the best sword fighter or Archer, there is a understanding to it. To know that we are just like everyone else we do what we must to keep those we love and know safe from danger at any coast even if that means our lives. To be a Hero means being true to yourself to understand and to know that even with the good of being a Hero there is the bad as well.
I hope you read this and understand these words for it is how I live and how I protect and honor all.
So being a Hero? there is more to it then trying to out due someone else or to be the best sword fighter or Archer, there is a understanding to it. My adventure with Gunther started well before I meet him as it started when I saved Prince Aiden's life.
Shortly after the siege I had decided I wanted to find a companion, one who could do patrols with me when I was needed and to fight at my side.
Prince Aiden invited me to the Grayson Kennels and that is where I meet Gunther, he was the only one of his litter to come to the pen door and when I saw him I knew he was the one.
He has since been at my side, no matter what he is there, when I have my low times he reminds me that everything will be okay (Ever get licked by a Rotti).
I do not think I could see my life with out him, he is what helps make me want to continue on when things seem very rough and impossible, he part of the Saik family and a Iron Guard in my mind and I would have it no other way

Relationship Note on Aiden
what can I say about Prince Aiden that many don't know? Oh I know.
Since the day of the Seige when we fought back to back taking down the Shav and Bringers who tried to come over the wall he has been by my side.
From the moment I took the blow from the giant monster to when I woke up and he was at my side.
He has taken me in like a brother and I him, he has come to every award ceremony that I was given a award for fighting and saved his life he has sat and cheered me on.
He has become one of my best friends and I do wish to get to know Silas as such as well in time.
I would save Aiden or Silas again if I had to make the choice all over again.
And even when Aiden was not cheered for or given acknowledge meant for his actions he still stood at my side.

I had the honor of fighting some of the best warriors in the compact last evening and it was a thrilling fight something I needed to get my mind off things. It was myself, Prince Ainsley, Lord Commander Silas, Lieutenant Calaudrin and Master Merek went against Grandmaster Armel, Dame Leta, Princess Alis, Princess Marian and Dame Esoka. Everyone fought well and each side took on wounded but in the end it was myself and Lord Commander Silas left on the field. I think when I have some time today I will track everyone down and see how they ate doing, I fear a few looked like porcupines when all was said and done.

It is always a tricky situation being a silk and being on the Iron Guard, I have been in the lowers and I have felt the eyes on me. I wish in some way I could make them see that not every Silk is a asshole and does not care. This is more then likely something that will not happen, but I do hope in time they will come to see that I care about all in the city not just myself.
