Relationship Note on Ian
What a kind man, Lord Ian Kennex is. He is patient and willing to train me, regardless of my ... limitations. He is exceptionally perceptive. I am not surprised he noticed what he did. I hope to be able to learn more from him soon.
Some may not call him kind but detached, but if one is willing to train someone who obviously has no skill so patiently, I would call that kind.

I am grateful the High Inquisitor was with me the second time. Even though his reaction was stronger than my own, it is good to not be alone.

It was nice to go to the Golden Hart for the gathering to raise funds for Thrax after what happened. It was a gesture in good faith, and hoping to result in overall good. I support this with my whole being, we all need more good in our lives to counteract the evil surrounding us.

Today has been the most traumatic of my short life. There is not enough alcohol to wash away the horror and drown out the sorrow.

An Investigation made great progress. I am hopeful that things will come to a resolution faster than it is anticipated, but I am afraid of what we will find at the end... something likely best left in the dark.

We only worked together briefly, Narciso, but I thought we made a great team. To lose a partner so soon after just working on a case together is hard. I was hoping to learn more, and work together, but that is not to be. My heart goes out to your loved ones who have lost you, as well as your friends.
The only consoling thought I have is that you died as a hero, saving the King. You will be remembered, and I will work hard to pick up the work that is left. Rest in peace knowing that you saved a life, and that I will not rest until I find the murderer for the case we were working on together.
